The barkeep nodded and slid the drink ramona's way as I continued working slowly on my own. I asked cooly "Got any ham?"

I began to sip my drink, slightly unsettled at the whole atmosphere of the place. It seemed to be getting more tightly packed by the minute, making it surprisingly yet uncomfortably warm for the time of the year. I was a tad bit thirsty for something more forbidden than bitter, but I wasn't sure that I was quite up to drawing a victim from the mass of bodies agressively pushing their way through to the bar.

Perfect. A drunk man, obviously not thinking straight, sat down next to me. Understanding what he was saying was impossible, showing just how far under he was. I smiled, makign it look rather suggestive, and before I even had to make another move he was right next to me, trying to kiss my neck. His breath reeked of alchohol, but I wasn't about to abandon a kill. Fast as lightning my fangs were in his neck, as I felt his warm blood going down my throat. I knew that I'd be a bit intoxicated, but not enough to cloud my judgement. Also to my advantage there were so many people here that no one would take notice.

As my meal was handed to me, fork included I caught a whiff of a familiar scent, although in a place this crowded, I wasn't all that surprised. Surely at least someone would have had their teeth knocked loos in a fight by no. I let the smell drop from my mind and began my breakfast.

As I sat, the strong smell of sweat reached my nose, and I knew there was no way I'd be able to enjoy breakfast here. I'd just wait till lunch, I decided. I wasn't all that hungry for "real" food anyway.

I, on the other hand, was voracious. My ham had gone down in a matter of minutes and what remaind of my drink followed immediately. Standing, I looked over at Ramona and asked "Shall we go then?"

I had finsihed off the human, and now my attention had been diverted to a pair at the bar area. I recognised them from that fight, and now I was wary. I gradually got to my feet, and movign away from my kill, proceded to watch them for any signs of odd activity, any that might be a prelude to danger.
