A PG-13 POST-APOCALYPTIC ROLE PLAY
PLOT;A PG-13 POST-APOCALYPTIC ROLE PLAY
The fallout had happened in 2009. Business had been booming prior to the disaster - the entire world had been prospering under the new world government, the United World League (UWL). Wars had been erased from the new world, people and nations across the globe were coming together in harmony, and technology was advancing more than ever. Pokemon had spread to all of the regions, so seeing a Hoenn pokemon in the Kanto region wasn't unusual, nor unlikely, thanks to revolutions in the field of transportation, and trainers were given a larger variety of starter pokemon across the different regions. Everything was peaceful - everything seemed, for once, to be going right.
It didn't last long, however; soon after the UWL banded together to create the perfect world, they decided to dispose of all nuclear weapons that had been constructed prior to the peaceful nations came together due to the dangerousness of them and the lack of use for them now that the world had no more wars. During the attempted destruction of the weapons, however, a careless mistake set one atomic bomb off.
Disaster occurred.
The explosion had set off a chain reaction, killing everyone and everything in sight. The world had turned from a bursting, flourishing place to a wasteland - a wasteland with no humans. The explosions had wiped out the human race entirely, although some pokemon, having the abilities and strength that they did, survived. But without their human companions, and with the natural habitats of the world in shambles, how will they survive?

While this region was once bursting with plant life and natural habitats for all sorts of pokemon, due to the nuclear fallout, the once lush and green forests are now barren and void of plant life for the most part. The cities and towns, while once small and bustling with activity, are now eerily quiet. The buildings have broken down due to the fallout and the time that has passed without human interaction.
Not all places, however, are a barren wasteland void of life. Some places like Viridian Forest, Mt. Moon, and the Rock Tunnel are beginning to come back from the dead and the plants and trees have begun to grow back in the years after the disaster. Other, more urban places as well, such as Celadon City, Saffron City, and Vermilion City are beginning to be overtaken by vines, trees, and other types of foliage.
RULES;Not all places, however, are a barren wasteland void of life. Some places like Viridian Forest, Mt. Moon, and the Rock Tunnel are beginning to come back from the dead and the plants and trees have begun to grow back in the years after the disaster. Other, more urban places as well, such as Celadon City, Saffron City, and Vermilion City are beginning to be overtaken by vines, trees, and other types of foliage.
1. No humans. All of the humans have died in the fallout, so please don't make your character a human.
2. Please, no advanced technology, or really that much technology at all - this is a post-apocalyptic world, and it's staying that way for quite a while.
3. While your character can have color modifications and minor changes to their body, please don't make your character radically different (have wings when they're not a winged pokemon, have unusual mutations, etc).
4. No extremely old characters, please - think of a Pokemon's lifespan to be about that of a dog's. A child would be from 3 - 7 months, adulthood would be from 2 - 7 years, and old age would be from about 9 years to about 15 years.
5. This RP runs on liquid time - one day in real life is one day in the RP - if it's March 10th in real life, it's March 10th in the RP.
6. If you haven't posted for two weeks in this RP, you will be removed.
