I'm doing an assignment for uni on family origins.. if someone could work there magic & remove the copyright watermark (if possible) would be greatly appreciated for there work.

Copyright water marks are there for a reason. It's really hard to remove them. It seems like the best way to do it would be to lower the opacity. But still, you shouldn't remove a copyright thing.

Ahh.. I'm sorry Batto, but this is technically a request and request threads aren't allowed here. D: Which sucks because I know what it's like to be pressured by school and reaching out for help. Unfortunately, rules are rules.

While I don't condone claiming copyright material as your own (because that's stealing :x) if you're using it exclusively for a project, I'd recommend adjusting the lighting/contrast to see if it can't be erased to an extent. The next best thing you can do is find the artist, and ask if you may use it for school. After that, well, either find an artist willing to draw you a new one or take on the task yourself. :(
