I don't think I've been to a legit family reunion in like 10+ years.
I guess last Christmas was pretty close -- my father's side of the family had a Christmas dinner. It's a huge family so I didn't even recognize most of the people there, and I don't think they recognized me. My father's been dead for a good 20 years and I barely see that side of the family due to being states away.
Honestly I feel awkward more than anything. I'm a quiet person at any sort of party. I know I'm related to them, but they're strangers to me.
