4th Gen Fan Made = Hacked?

    I noticed a few threads talking about fan made pokemon events. Wouldn't those be hacked pokemon, and therefore not allowed to be traded here?

    srry if i sound a little n00bish, but what de flip is a fan made event, is it just a poke w/ the pokeball/ot are hacked????
     
    it's when a fan or possibly a hacker-fan makes a unique pokemon...

    A chimchar can't learn baton pass... but with the help of such "programs".. you can put it on 'em.
     
    Well i've seen like "star trek" pokemon... Pokemon with names of characters from star trek. They are listed as fan made, but assuming they are hacked. I haven't cared about the other fan made pokemon are since to me that is screaming to be hacked and not interested
     
    Yes, but some can be legal.I was going to breed a Budew with Leaf Storm and Red Scarf in honor of the "Oh, Do You Know The Poffin Plan" episode, this is not hacked and is thereby legal, beacuse it's all obtainable without cheats.
     
    i've seen a lot of threads by new guys in the trade section that included Patrick, Krypton, Star trek and other hacked events. they are complete crap and don't deserve to be called events since any moron with pokesav can make their own fake events. the whole idea of events is to get something rare and that few other players can claim to have. I have also made it a point to let them know that they are hacked and aren't allowed to be traded on PC forums.
     
    Here is the only problem. "Events" are allowed to be traded. If it is considered an "Event" then be it hacked or not, it is an "Event". What would have to happen is the mods decide that "Fan Events" are all considered hacked and not tradeable here.
     
    I wish people would stop saying 'legal', or 'illegal'. It's pathetic to compare site rules to the ones that form society.

    this intself is a society... and yes there are rules that have been established to orgaize these battles and such. if you want a street fight, you know where to find 'em.

    but wasn't threr just a recent event where u get a shiny turtwig/chimchar/pipul w/ batonpass

    that was a fan-made\hacker-made event that was to take place in the Nintendo World Store in NYC...

    I went to it like a sucker.... There was this nervous little nerdy guy with a Silver DS claiming that he worked for Nintendo.... he also said Mystery Gift was down.. blah blah blah... in the end.. it was obvious... he didn't work for Nintendo.. and his pokes were hacked...

    it would've been a nice gesture to hand 'em out... BUT... he was stupid enough to lie to us and such.
     
    yeah I made a FAN-made event(not hacker,read to see why.)I have the ablitity to back-up my gamesaves,so on the day of the TRU manaphy I dowloaded it and took it streight home to back the game save up.after baclsaving it i got my manaphy from the green man(GM) i then traded it to my pearl.later in october 1st I decided to pick a second one up from the GM by restoreing my gamesave before the point I toke it out in the first place.I notice the recive date was no longer sept.29,2007 but oct.1st,2007 making it diffrent from all other TRU manaphys.I got an idea,I made a manaphy from jan,1st,2000 and another from jul,7,2007 I then switch the moves using TMs and HMs so thay can spell out "RARE" and "LUCK" I put a lucky egg on 1 and a blue scarf on another.when I put a thread saying Hybrid-TRU manaphy Giveaway,some people went to it thay must of misread it or something but i put "maybe these can be worth 20 to 30 events!!!" thay thought i wanted 20 to 30 events for them but I was really giving them away,on another site i posted that same giveaway and someone said that "these are hacked,the pokesav. ones are legit" I think that guy was confused these are made from auctal TRU manaphys!! thay are far from hacked....recently i saw this! a guy made a fan-made event and wants shinys and real events for it.if you can`t take my word for it take this link to see for your self.

    Messing up with the game like that is still not perfectly legit. Events have a date, and that's one of the characteristics people notice when checking legitimacy.

    my method is the least-hacked way you can do that.oh and it`s not hacking it`s cheating.my point is to say why does this kid getaway with ripping off people and when i try to give something speical way everybody rejects it and yes all fan-made events are hacked(no questions asked)if nintendo makes it it`s an event.

    I personally like a few of the fanmade events. I got some that all say REBIRTH, and they all have moves that were only available to the Pokemon in RGBY/GSC. GSC Only Egg Moves and GSC NYPC moves are all that I've found on them so far. I hope I can get a Fury Attack/Horn Drill Dunsparce >.<;

    On the other hand, soem of these moves are pointless. Phanphy with Absorb(GSC NYPC Move) and Water Gun(GSC Egg Move) is pretty weird, but still would be cool to have. I want ALL the REBIRTH Pokemon!

    IMO, as long as the Fanmades aren't broken, I'm okay with them.
