that reminds me, I need to get back into a productive mood myself now that the current semester's ended.

Don't feel bad, Niko. Every one of us seems to pale in comparison to those "Pokefic celebs" that MewMan listed off. Sometimes, I'm left wondering how the hell I can one day make doujinshi that's well-known across the internet Pokemon community if I can't even get anywhere near the top in the simpler world of fanfiction.

I respect you Niko! For closing all those insanely horrible fics sending a message to the beginning writers! Of course, you probably dont care about what I say since im just a Joe NoBody with a Jynx avatar.


Anyway, I wanted to post saying that I posted my first attempt at a horror fanfiction ~Malevolence~ and I need some serious feedback from peopel who are half decent at horror on how to improve!

I gotta start reviewing more fics around here! *goes to check request in past three pages*

The inverse of that second part being "that fanfic mod who really has no idea what he's doing and praises crapfic." That whole 'everyone liked' thing is nice and subjective. Though... I guess seeing as we're all condemned to a fandom mostly populated by ten-year-olds, it's to be expected that most fics would be at flat as toilet paper.

On ff.net I was recently for the first time referred to as one of Farla's 'minions' or whatever. Apparently if you concrit, you're evil. There's no right answer in fanfiction.
 
Lol, one of Farla's minions huh? That's why I don't review at ff.net. :P Though, I really do think it depends on where you go for Pok?mon fanfiction since some gratefully appreciate it while others think that you're the spawn of satan. Ah yes, good times.

I respect the Niko. He who conquered all the fanfics (least mods them anyways).

You're at the green forum Mewman and I'm more well-known there, so maybe that's why you know me here too.

Mediocre authors on forums are no better. I get hate mail from them, too. Look, I don't want to praise your fic about Mary and her friend Sue getting super powers and vanquishing rayquaza.

Yeah, I find that, some people, especailly newbs, who think they worked so hard in a fic, and yet when people see it, it's still a bunch of crap..... meh... I have seen loads

I'm helping one of my firends improve her fan fic at least.......

At least she's willing to take help. Meanwhile I'm getting hatemail with people telling me their canon-raping fics are fine because they say so. Lucky.
 
lol Act. XD I gave two of my friends constructive criticism. One wouldn't speak to me for days, and one thought I was flaming her, and deleted my reviews.

I've been noticing that too (and I've been one of those people for WAY too long).

Hopefully with all this advice I've been given, the new edition of HMW would put the other two versions to pure and utter shame. ;)

Best to be careful with this oneshot then... the title itself is enough to make me cringe and cry for Oni to close down the fanfic the second it's posted >>; (see that's why titles got its own section for 5 marks in Frosty reviews... titles can do that to you)
