That's quite true... I'm attracted to fics that have "battle", "journey", "Pokemon", etc, etc in them... =P

I never thought that titles can do so much.

You mustn't forget 'Team - something,' such as Team IceKing, or Team Doom, or TeamOMGwe'regonnadie. Regarding a (certain rare pokemon, or just a cool pokemon itself) + (a real special funky sounding word) = ex: Mew's Legend, MewMan's Prophecy -of Muffins-, Mewtwo's Journey, etc. Or (Certain name) + (Optional: insert adjective here) + (journey) + (Optional: a goal pertaining to something) = ex: Nekomajo's Journey, Eddie's Hopeless Journey, Onii-chan's Extravagant Journey for Green Day Fans, etc. In the other case, where one's title is a tad too long, such as The Mystery Behind the Crystal Orb letter of Mew's chosen funny one - Breezy, (oh yeah, ones with 'chosen' in them, sometimes, like The Chosen Script One - Yamato-San) or just simply ActonThat's Journey through Fanfiction.net - Part 1, Battling through Flames!, or LilyPichu's Journey to find Roy, Part 2, in which she rejects all ideas of his nonexistence coolly, shamelessly rambling on about his realism and hawtness oblivious to scientific proof anime characters cannot exist.

Generally words like 'journey', 'chronicles', 'chosen', 'ledengd' and the likes turn me off. A creative title shows effort, especially when there is no summary.

That was my greatest story EVAH I must say. *sniffle* Does everyone remember when Mew met the fiendish little elf of Jupoxpolis who tricks poor Mew to where the crystal orb was so Mew goes off and finds the letter predicting her funny death? I sure do. :)

On another note, how do you spell thought? I think I got something hit me in the head early this morning when we had an earthquake, but for some reason, thought just looks spelled wrong to me. o.o

Actually, I got no help whatsoever when I first started and two years later I'm dare I say decent. ^^; Of course, the constructive criticism came AFTER I fixed the basic grammar and whatnot in my ficcies.

Hatemail is fun to read, especially from pissed off n00bs- uh writers that do not appreciate good help.

I was just wondering, why is Fanfiction and Otherwriting used as seperate forums. Is it just because you guys want to keep Pokemon stories and the other seperate? I'm asking this because I somehow feel myself discouraged -- to write my own fiction -- by the fact that the activity in Other fanfiction is practically non-existing, at least compared to what happens here.

Meh, I guess I have to just live with it :)
