hi im back. I know the endangered duck stinks but hey i grew attached to it. So i just want you people to rate nothing else cause i wanna try to improve it myself. I'm trying not to be the baby i used to be so here it is-

since this is the farfetched i got attached to im not really intrested in breeding stuff, etc. unless farfetched really isnt as weak as i think.

Farfetch'd has unfortunately abysmal stats, none of which are even remotely average. Having one of the worst stat sets of any Pokemon, poor Farfetch'd can't even do anything.

Even with a decent moveset, Farfetch'd can't really get anywhere, it's got no defences.

id give it bright powder/quick claw: double team/swordsdance (helps sub survive longer with double team), sub, toxic, protect/flail (sub will lower hp safely, flail will get stab, and increase attack from sub)

Well if your going to get rid of Fly get rid of it for Aerial Ace (this is and awesome attack)!

Even with Double Team + Brightpower, it's a OHKO from pretty much every move. Double Team only helps if you can take a hit or two (you need to be able to set up DT, which is why it works so well on Dusclops or Umbreon). Farfetch'd really doesn't have the stats to do anything right, not when it's below average in everything, and is overshadowed by everything else.

but still with bright powder opp is lowered by 30% acc, u sub to gaurentee not dieing, then d team, when sub breaks u still have dt to try it again. then u flail when low. plus d team is passed on to the next sub

Major problem with that thinking - who says you're going to be able to go first to set up Substitute? Farfetch'd only has base Speed 60, so it's going to be outsped by pretty much all sweepers. Farfetch'd is a free kill for almost any Pokemon.

And brightpowder doesn't add 30% evasion, it's only adding a free level of Double Team.

but doesnt that also get passed on to the sub? and if not, (of course i know how bad it is, im jsut going best case scenario so the asker knows how he could potentially set up/ use farfetch'd with luck on his side) farfeth'd still gets help, then far immediately uses sub if opp misses due to bp, then keep using double team so even when sub breaks u still have protection, then u can sub again. u can prob get 1-2 dteams in. so u will have 2-3 dteams woth alrdy (1 from bp), then after u sub, u dt until u are maxed, and once sub breaks u sub 1 last time and your sub will have very high evas and then u can sweep w/ flail. the only prob is the chance of being hit and the amout of times sub can be used. if u are ot very lucky but manage to get sub in at least 1-2 times, it will still boost flail so jsut keep flailing till u die. possibly go:
protect, toxic, endure, swagger. also u could put swagger in the moveset above sumwhere to buy major time. possibly replace toxic with swagger to take advantage of dteam, and swagger to stay alive while sub prevents stats and boosts flail. EITHER WAY, I SUGGEST U USE SWAGGER 1ST!

Ok, that does it, now you're bordering on spam, and definately not reading my posts and understanding them. Also, you've tried this tactic with several Pokemon and none of them have been eligible for such a strategy. There's a reason why Double Team isn't used too often, it's because you need some decent to high defences to pull it off. And that doesn't help much either when Haze/Roar removes your DT.

the point is that no1 would use roar/haze on a farfethc'd b/c they wouldnt predict they would need to and b/c they would prob have jsut a sweeper. doesnt sub prevent roar? neways sprry if it was spam, but suggesting moves isnt spam if is topic related. swaggeris there to help so they switch, then u get to shuffel them u get a free turn to do w/e, or they may stay out for the free attck + and risk getting surprised by farfetchd. yes skarmory/any psycial tanker/ type reistant to flail is your enemy but chances are u r to surprise them with a bad pokemon. it helps keep them confused as to why u r using far, how it could possibly win, and what moveset u r using. plus sub and flail are so surpsring on a far, no1 would have expected. they prob would have guess just a toxic moveset. but i sugegst replacing toxic w/ swagger exp if they have a berry. so they cant cure confusuion unless they switch (at least not easily), u gain more time, u sub, u dt, u flail till u die

The only thing Farfetch'd can do is perhaps stick + slash >>; The end... anything else, it's overshadowed. At least with stick + slash it's "slightly" unique in a useless manner.

EDIT: Kirby00 is right. No one will use haze or roar. They'll just directly attack for a free OHKO.

but the problem is that they will try for an OHKO, and they will ALWAYS succeed in scoring that OHKO, regardless of whatever you do >>; Seeing a Farfetch'd is just an opportunity to dragon dance up and destroy the entire team later.

hust wanted to add that ever since it survived thunder pnch from a level 37 hitmonchan (farfetched was on level 26) i got attached to it. All i asked was to rate farfetched nothing else. may i add that this si most likelty for breeding purposes.

With Hitmonchan having one of the lowest Special Attacks, this point is moot.

Hitmonchan has awful special attack ._.

Back in GSC you could have Endure/Flail after Agility... if only it still has Endure =/
