4th Gen Fast ways to train?

Eheheheh.

I was kind of scared of the Elite Four so I always asked my brother to do it for me, even though I pretty much had trained the pokemon to Lvl. 90. =_="

Even so, I would just run around and complete the pokedex sort of. So I trained and did the pokedex at the same time.

i trained my pokemon for 1 week just to prepare for the elite four. or you could challenge them. when you lose, you still get to keep the experience points you gained. just bring an amulet coin to make up with lost money

Victory Road and the trainers in it are your best bet, unless you go to the side of the Sunnyshore city with a VS seeker.

VS Seeker + Water Route towards the League = high level pokemon. :>

That's only useful for training Grass/Electric type pokemon though. Thanks anyway.

this is actually good advice, cause there are some strong Gyarados, and you'll be able to beat them. Those Gyarados give you 3000 exp. each.
That's where i trained all of mine to lvl. 65!

I give whatever I'm focusing on training a lucky egg. I trained to about level 60-55 in Victory Road before beating the league for the first time. Now I have pokes about level 62 (I've been training alot more loosely lately, with the exception of Poliwrath, who was grinded from like, level 43 or so to replace Empoleon, almost specifically because of Cynthia's Garchomp). For beating the league the second time, I would suggest Stark mountain, however you will have a hard time training Grass types there unless you can get lucky enough to find a bunch of Rhydon.

It depends r u ev training your team if you are then that will take slot longer but will be well worth it. If not then just battle anyone and everyone the road that to sunnyshore has plenty of good trainers. Yes some will have 3 magikarps to start with but if you battle him again I believe he has 3 or 2 gyaradoses

Post-E4, there are two good places.
1. The cave you find Giratina in (You can find level 5X Haunters!)
2. Fight Area (The Route has Pokemon at about level 40 :/)

For me i always train in the routes next to Sunyshore city because you can verse those trainers 1000 times if you want to. The problem with Victory Road is the trainers there can only be battled against once because the Vs Seeker doesn't work underground.

If you need to train for the Pokemon League don't wait untill the last second. Start training the pokemon you want to take into the league into Victory Road the first time you go in so you can train them against the best trainers pre national dex

Put the exp share on the pokemon that's battling, it'll gain twice as much exp in one battle. Good luck training, it can be a drag sometimes...

The best was I found to train was versing that lady in the desert in that Resort place, the girl who has the Rapidash, Ambipom and Blissy. The Blissy gives you so much EXP.

The VS Seeker helps out a lot too, since Trainer's Pokemon give a lot more EXP than wild Pokemon.

Instead of starting a new thread, I though I would post here.

I am looking to train my Pokemon from levels 39-42 up to 46-49 to climb Mount Coronet. Where would be the best place for me to train.

My team is:

Empoleon
Gardevoir
Staraptor
Gabite
Blaziken
Luxray

Thanks
Dan

I just got out of Mt. Coronet a few days ago, and I'm now training for the Pokemon League, and I was in the same situation as you. What I did was train in Mt. Coronet, since the Wild Pokemon Levels are so high. But remember to keep Escape Ropes handy, and as many Revival Herbs as you want/need.

But you don't need them up to Level 49, unless you really want to. I walked up with my highst leveled Pokemon my Floatzel at level 41, and I beat all the Galactic Grunts and caught Palkia. So you should be fine as is!

*Go to high places with powerful pokes
*Put trainee (with exp share) in front line
*When battle begins, switch with a powerful teammate (for added exp, give lucky egg)
*Beat up enemy!

That's an old, classic style...
