[ASM & Hex] Faster/Instant Text Speed in Emerald?

How do I modify the text speed in Pokémon Emerald? Specifically, how do I modify it such that whole messages appear instantly?
If possible, I'd like to keep the "slow" and "medium" text speeds the same, but make the "fast" text speed instant. If you know how to do this, please let me know!

BUMP - still looking for a way to do this. Making the "fast" text speed instant would be ideal, but even twice it's vanilla speed would still be great.
