    Ok with the new year coming i thought i would ask you guys some of your favorite songs from 2008
    It doesnt matter what genre music

    Mine are Check yes juliet by We The Kings, and Viva la Vida by Coldplay
     
    My favorite of '08 is definetely Re-Education (Through Labor) by Rise Against.

    It's one of my favorite songs right now ^^
     
    This question's possibly the hardest question I've been asked in a really long time. There were a lot of songs released in this year alone; the majority of them make up my music library. I can't think of a single song that stood up against the rest and proven to be my favorite song of the whole year without having doubts of my choice. Perhaps I'll just narrow it down to my favorites and choose from there. My favorite songs in my library consist of songs that were all released in 2008 and they include

    • Britney Spears - Circus
    • Britney Spears - Phonography
    • Cascada - Because the Night
    • Cute is What We Aim For - Doctor
    • Lenka - The Show
    • Rihanna - Disturbia
    Out of those selected, The only ones that I tend to listen to are the Britney Spears songs and Lenka so that eliminates the rest of them.

    Out of those remaining, going lyric-wise, I think Lenka - The Show has more meaning to me than the remaining songs (which would be Circus and Phonography; though they are very catchy, they don't have lyrics that mean much to me (or as much as lyrics in The Show means to me)). So I'm going to go with Lenka - The Show as my favorite song of the year.

    I wasn't exactly a huge fan of a lot of music released this year, especially things like Rap, Hip Hop and RnB, I've just never liked music of that style. I prefer Alternative Rock and similar styles. Nonetheless there's been a few songs that I've really liked released in 2008.
    For example:
    • UFO - Newton Faulkner
    • Pork and Beans - Weezer
    • Resonance - T.M.Revolution
    • Viva La Vida - Coldplay
    • Violet Hill - Coldplay
    • NAKED LOVE - ナイトメア (Naitomea/Nightmare)
    To be honest, I like all of those songs, but if I had to choose one, it'd probably be "Resonance", simply because I'm a huge fan of T.M.Revolution and J-Rock in general. xD
     
    If I had to chose one, it'd be TABOO by 倖田來未 . Such an amazing song omg *-* I've listened to it over 700 times since it was released in like... October XD; But yeah, TABOO is definitely my favourite <3
     
    Well sweeties, my favorite song of 2008 is:
    "Whatever you like" by Weird Al

    It's hillarious and in my opinion an improvement of TI's original song of the same name. XD

    Got a couple, but I love nearly all music so it is pretty tough for me..

    There are so many remixes of the original, the Obama one , this etc... All of them are so awesome.

    Personally, I love Lady GaGa's Pokerface. Utilizes the sucess of Just Dance by using its melody altered slightly. Pure genius!

    I used to love Poker Face, but I am bored of it now. I still love Just Dance though, one of my fave dance tracks.
     
    So... hard. I'd have to go with; S.C.O.M. -- Celph Titled, Ryu, Juelz Santana and Mike Shinoda. I love the beat, the lyrics and the tune of the music. It's quite an expressing song as well, so... that takes it.

    I dunno, I've listened to it over and over again, but it's never gotten old. o_o;
