fave set of pkmn games...

I believe this should go in general game discusion...

On topic: Even though I absolutely <3 the G/S/C games I'll cast my vote on the R/B/Y series. There's something about that horrible sound and graphic quality... Plus, the original 151 are and forever will be my favourites
 
This would go in the General Games forum (since you're talking about the games in general). However, the thread title confuses me. You say "set" and then you give your favorite individual games. @_@; There's a thread for favorite individual games already (here).

I'm going to go with the title and send this over to the General Games Discussion. ^^;

BTW, I like GSC. GSC is awesome <3

Should've made it a poll. I like Red, Silver, and Emerald.
 
G/S/C!!!

Preferably Crystal, it had Night and Day time, Daylight savings, a BANK! I just loved it. Everything had a schedule of it's own. Radio, also in Crystal, it lets you chose from boy and girl. Gotta give them credit for that.

Also the Johto pokemon had a charming feeling with me, the birth of Espeon and Umbreon.

GSC just has that certain charm...
 
GSC for me. Johto, the radio, day/night, and Crobat.
 
I Love R/B/Y, it's just the best for me. I don't know Y tho? (Maybee because I don't like the Advance games.
 
I like R/B/Y, I dont know why i like them best, they have the worst graphic, but i think they are just the best. O_O

It would be Pokemon Blue and Red, but since Leaf Green and Fire Red are enchanced versions with not only the original game but even more content I am going to have to go with those.
 
So hard to pick, every set had its unique quality. For gaming with friends G/S/C and for overall gaming experince Leaf green. I might have gone for R/S/E but the pokemon and Hoen just plain sucked, but they're still awesome games which I love but fingers crossed Diamond and Pearl will be the best pokemon games yet.
 
Like others have said, my favorite is GSC because of the radio, morning/day/night, and also had Kanto. Emerald destroys the others as far as graphics and AI, but GSC had more playability. I also hope that DP with provide us with a fusion of GSC and Emerald.
 
G/S/C is my number one, but firered and leafgreen are pretty close.

g/s/c because of the day cyle, and the fact you could visit both regions. Plus it had Jasmine (my favorite gym leader) and Espeon.
Fr/Lg because the Kanto pokemon, the originals, are the best.
 
Mine are Yellow, Crystal, and Sapphire. Yellow, was almost similar to the anime, with Pikachu as the starter, had Jessie and James from Team Rocket to battle, and the ability to obtain all 3 regular Kanto starters (Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle). Crystal was another favorite, due to the introduction of having a girl trainer. And Sapphire was awesome, with the introduction of Hoenn Pokemon, and Pokemon contests. Those are my favorite Pokemon games.
 
Mine would be Ruby, Sapphire, Leafgreen and Emerald. But since emerald is the nest kinda game it's my fave one
 
I love R/S/E but the best set will have to be G/S/C because of Johto and Kanto.
