Favorite fields of Science

Biology, only because I see it as the most easiest.

Taxonomy, evolutionary, entomology, paleontology, paleopathology, physiology & medicine, geology.

Philosophy, Nuclear Physics, Computer Science, Astrophysics, Psychology, Geography & Paleontology. I think you can see a pattern forming; universally cognizant choices.. Anything that can explain or attempt to explain what I want to know deeply interests me. For me though, all roads lead to Philosophy. (Oh and for the people who think it isn't a science, you can assume I'm talking about the Philosophy of Science, Logic, or mind).

I've always been fascinated by superconductivity after seeing a demonstration of it in action with liquid nitrogen. The rest of electricity is kinda boring, and physics as a whole is interesting enough, I guess, but whenever something on TV or in the newspaper about it, I'll stop what I'm doing and start reading about it. Also genetics, but I don't know enough about it.

environmental science. that and chemistry.

chemistry is where my mind's at, but environmental science is where my heart is.

Mainly zoology, anthropology, archeology but to be more specific, for zoology, marine biology, mammalogy, herpetology and ornithology.

For me most science is interesting to a point. I don't have much scientific talent, but I always liked astronomy and cosmology (which is kinda like astronomy with less math, I think). Astrophysics seems really interesting and I'd like to know more about it. One of my family members married an astrophysicist and I've wanted to pick her brain for a while now, but haven't gotten a chance to yet. It would probably all go over my head though.

Biology classes were always fun, learning about cells and organs and habitats and all of that.

Um..

Psychology is my biggest, currently. I'm even going to major in it once I start college soon and whatnot. Philosophy is also another big one for me, but personally, I think it's kinda boring and might not interest me enough.

Just Psychology, Biology, and Anatomy is enough for me, I suppose.

Astronomy, Physics, Marine Biology, Ichthyology, Entomology, and Paleontology. Though science itself has always been my favorite subject. ^____^

I see some geology fans in here, that makes me happy! : D

I LOVE geological sciences (well a lot of 'm), but my favourite has to Marine Geology. I would love to continue my Master Studies in the Marine Geology department. It's just so interesting. You get Marine/Lacustrine Biology, Seismology, (Exploration) Geophysics, Sedimentary Geology. So, yes, next year I hope to be able to go to Basin Dynamics. :'3

I also adore Paleontology (of the more advanced creatures), Astronomy (too bad I wasn't smart enough to take that course. XD; but I'm fascinated by space, just as much as the earth itself) and I'm moderately interested in physics. I don't like the mathematical stuff in it. :B And I do like Biology as well.

I don't like Chemistry though, even though it's mighty interesting. My experiences with that class failed to keep me happy. : <

don't mind me, just bringing some attention to this, lalala~

Congrats, this is Poll of the Week!

*stickied!*

As someone who wants to learn as much as possible about how the world works, Science is a passion of mine.

Biology is my favorite of the "big three" if you like, closely followed by physics and Chemistry at the rear... by a long distance. Chemistry bores me to be honest, though I'm quite good at it. Medical Science is where my true interest lies, more internal stuff like the Endocrine and Circulatory Systems than infection though. Naturey stuff is cool too. Global Weirding excites me, especially after a bolt of lightning burned a pole at my school.

Cool thread.

Like Scarf, most fields interest me to some level. Those that hold the most interest are astronomy & astrophysics, linguistics, philosophy, physiology, and genetics (mostly relegated to physical traits & coat color in mammals).

I've always wanted to be a Super Math Geek but I never had the patience to study.
