I voted for Mario and Yoshi, couldn't choose between them.

If I had to, though, I'd go with Yoshi

I've always loved the side characters. They'd sit there and help the main character, while getting less noticed the the hero him/herself. That's why I've always liked Luigi. I wanna be just like him when I grow up. Except not a pansy.

Luigi is awesome. He always gets pushed to the background be Mario and that's my I like him. Also because my bro always stole the Player 1 controller so I was always playing as him. ¬_¬
Basically, Luigi, Numbera one!

5. Donkey Kong -- I love monkeys, so this speaks for itself...:)
4. Baby Mario/Luigi -- They were my lead characters in MK:DD.
3. Koopa/Paratroopa/Dry Bones -- The turtles were also my faves int he MK games.
2. Luigi -- So much funnier than Mario!
1. Yoshi -- Who doesn't love it when he sings 'Yoshi'!
