Well, technically, Karen's probably my favorite, but she wasn't in the poll, so I'll talk about Lorelei instead. She wasn't much in the Yellow arc, given that she was following Lance's orders, but judging by all the screens of the FRLG arc on Netkun, she's gotten a lot more awesome. And I will refrain from yammering about the game and the anime, since that would be offtopic. *hint, hint*

I chose Lance but I don't like this Elite 4. I prefer Elite 4 from Pokemon gold because there is Koga nyah. Lance is interesting person and strange. That's my opinion

Lance! ^_^ Yeah, I understand why some of you guys hate him. He thinks that by destroying humans, he is better than them. No, he's low, low, low, low, very low to do what he did. I don't like him for his dragon Pokemon. I like him for other reasons. Kind of hard to put in place. And, yeah, he's very smug and cocky. But, remember, that's how most strong people his age act. ^_^ You should see my brother... ^_<

First off, he's cute (in my opinion). I just like the way he looks. There are other reasons, though. First off, the goal of destroying humanity was, yes, very, very wrong. Thank god Yellow stopped him in time (without killing him. ^_<). But he was doing it for his Pokemon. They all hate humans, and he thinks that all Pokemon think that way. So, it was unselfish deep down. (STILL BAD, THOUGH). 'Only saying, it could be a lot worse.

Also, the English translation was set out to make Lance look as bad as possible. I don't know why. (Probably because the US translators think: bad people are always bad-100%).

And for what he did in the GSC saga. He helped Silver. Yes, some people think he did it for his own reasons. But what reason did he have to help Silver? None. Except maybe being slightly worried about him. In the game, Lance says; "I am concerned about that young man I battled.". And the Manga tries to follow the game as closely as they can.

And I also love the way he's so calm and controled. Yeah, he gets angry a lot, but I like his response when he's in danger or pain. Really noble-like. ^_^ And Clair seemed to care about him. So he would have been nice to her. Clair said in the GSC saga: "we were in contact with each other until you battled with him.".

And Lance got his idea because his Dratini died. He was really angry and upset.

You guys are free to hate him if you want, though. ^_^ Afterall, I hate Giovanni. And nothing anyone says will change my mind :dead: I really hope my Lance-chan comes back in the FR&LG saga! :rambo:

EDIT: The Incarnation Pokemon, when you've finished your fanfic on Lance turning good ("getting a wake-up call"), I'd love to read it! 'Love a story like that! :D

which means, that when they like it, it is pointless to persuade them to your view, at least permanently, so instead of barganing with everyone as to how a particular E$ die or gal is nice, why dont you all just try to see them from the other view

ill stop my rambling ang reiterate my POV and move on to why i like Lance: Lance is like a very active enviromentalist of sorts, you know, those fan-atics that would kill "For the Greater Good" and such. yea, being dang near invincible with all those partial Viridian imparted mind-read and heal abilities make his pokemon essentially invulnerable

If the enemy burns an arm off, just grow it back

But hey, another point of view is that he is a demented psycho whose aim is to create a "New World Order" where there are no natural corruption by humans and such, this therefore turns him into one of those "Well-Meaning" supervillians.

Actually, Coronis takes out the few curse words and changes the nicknames. And I've read the English Manga, he doesn't always explain all of the things that are happening. In the English version, Yellow says; "I understand why you think Lance is your friend, Dragonite.". In the Japanese version, she just said; "Dragonite, please let me stop Lance.". So, yeah...

No, that's what it says at serebii.net character bios. Coronis never said it died or lived. There was no proof of either. It just said that Lance got his Dragonair in the flashback. That was a misake.

When they meet in the flashback: Half a year.

When you see him first off (in the cave island): One year.

Lance is walking along the construction site of the battle tower (on the top of the rafts. He and Silver have very good balance. ^_^), minding his own addorable buisseness, when Silver suddenly attacks him with his Murkrow. Lance is annoyed and he sends out his two Dragonairs. However, it is night time, thus too dark for the Dragonairs to see. Lance recalls them and Silver has his Murkrow attack him with Persuit. Lance sends out Pupitar to protect himself.

He asks Silver why he is attacking him. (See how much he changed in just a half a year? If Silver had attacked him the Y Saga, Lance would have killed him.) Anyway, without waiting for an answer, Lance reads Silver's Murkrow's mind, and finds out that it's because of what Blue told him, (the stupid moron thought that it was he who kidnapped her and Silver when they were younger). He tells Silver that it wasn't him. And explains about his former goal to destroy humanity using Lugia, but he'd never seen it before hand.

Silver appolizes and starts to leave, but Lance stops him. Lance says that Silver isn't showing his feelings to his Pokemon enough. And that his Murkrow's heart is breaking because of that. He then admits that he did the same thing himself in the past, but now he understands, bla, bla, bla. Lance then says that Silver is far too weak to face his opponet as he is now.

Silver demands what Lance knows about the Mask of Ice. Lance stops and replies; "intrested?".
The Incarnation Pokemon, please stop going on and on about not liking Lance. I don't like Bruno, but I'm not trying to change your mind. You must except that some people like Lance, and some people don't. That's just the way it is. :dead:

Jesus Christ... Okay, I'll scan them for you. There is nothing I can do about the Dratini thing. There was no proof as I said. It never said if Dratini died or not. EVER. It just said that at serebii. I'll just show you this:

He doesn't heal it in this flashback. And that's the ONLY time we ever see Lance and Dratini. Coronis never said that he healed it. That was probably the webmaster.

Also, you asked me for a summery on Lance and Silver, I gave it to you. What was the point if you don't believe me? Go to serebii.net, and chapter "VS. Pupitar" if you don't believe me.

And I never said to "doubt" the Manga summaries or the English version. I just said what was true. If you want proof, get off your a*s, and buy the Manga. And before you start in about "I can't buy it", I couldn't, either. I had to buy it online. I spent $150 more dollars than the Japanese probably did. I chose to, and I'm happy I did. I admit that Lance isn't perfect. All I can say is that he has a kind heart deep down. He's just been through a lot in his life which is why he's so cold and distant. He wakes up to himself in the GSC Saga if you were listening.

You don't need a credit card. All you have to do is diposit the money into her bank account. Then she'll send it to you in 9-12 days (I got mine in about 8), and from any contrey! If your parents try to stop you (like mine did), just argue. Or cry. Which ever works better. ^_^
