favorite series for battling?

what is everyone's favorite series for battling in the tourneys?

We'd have to go back about 5 years or so to find mine. The DPPt era was a lot of fun, particularly the Platinum block because of the Blastoise from the Platinum set.

Uhmm... I'd either have to go with the DP series (which I won a tremendous amount of battles) or the XY series, which is pretty good too.

I'm buy most of my booster packs on the DP or XY series.
