Favourite Move?

Animation-wise
Fire Blast - Awesome in GSC
Doom Desire - Like summoning sunlight

Battle-wise
Bolt, Beam, Thrower - Deadly, especially when they can be TMs
Hidden Power
Thief
Pay Day
ExtremeSpeed
MistBall
Lustre Purge
DragonBreath

And the list goes on...

Destiny Bond - the best move of all time!
Perish Song - only because Missy learns it...
Extrasensory - 80 base damage with 30 PP to spam with, AND it stuns (once in a while)!
Dark Pulse (Aku no Hadou) - Looks cool, and can stun.

earthquake - its just, amazing really most of my pokemon have it
rock slide - again just great, useful for taking out flying pokemon

My favourites moves are
Surf - Power, accuracy and usefullness rolled into one
Ice Beam/Flamethrower/Thunderbolt - Good old Mr. Reliables
Double-Edge - On the right pokemon, this move is a killer, great power, good accuracy and a nice amount of PP's, the recoil hurts a lot thro.
Shadow Ball - Give this to Flareon and watch how badly you mash the psychics! Of course when D/P come out it'll be special so try it out then with Espeon or Jolteon!
Drill Peck - Another relable move
Swords Dance - A nice Attack booster, funnily enough more common than Sharpen and Meditate
Aerial Ace - Flying swift makes for a nice striking move
Aurora Beam - Good Accuracy, bit more powerful than Bubblebeam (I think) and lowering attack helps especially if using a pokemon like Vaporeon.
Psychic - Who doesn't like psychic?
Sketch

But in my opinion, my most favourite move of all is Wing Attack

Think about it...60 power, 100% base accuracy, and 40 PP

It outclasses all moves of that power levels in trems of flexibility and PP.
It can be used as a secondary attack move.
It's great to train up pokemon with due to being able to defeat more wild pokemon before having to restore that PP via Pokemon Centre.

Wing Attack has 35 PP not 40... (The only offensive move with 40 PP is Rapid Spin that does 20 base damage - False Swipe can't KO so it doesn't count.)

Compared to Extrasensory, 80 base damage with 30 PP to spam around, and a 10% chance to stun the enemy for a turn, which is better?

My vote is on Extrasensory.

IMO:
Extrasensory > Psychic
Aerial Ace > Wing Attack
Ice Beam > Aurora Beam (95 + 10% chance to freeze vs 65 + 10% chance to lower Attack.)

Earthquake has to be my all time favorite move. It's saved me so many times and it's just all around strong.

Forgot about Earthquake! That move rocks my world:cool:

I checked it up and yes, you are right ~Solarys~. Wing Attack has only 35 PP, bot still its by far the best offensive move with 35 PP there is

Extrasensory is a very good move, however it is learnt by only a few pokemon via breeding and I believe (but not sure) that only Shiftry learns it naturally.

And In a battle sense yes Aerial Ace is better than Wing Attack, but my judgement is not just based on battling other players, its more based on many other factors as well.

Covet is another offensive move with 40PP I believe

Butr i'll be quiet now. I may be the most knowledgable about it in my hometown, but i'm a newb compared to all the people out there.

So does Nuzleaf. (well gee that helps--Shiftry evolves from Nuzleaf...) I wish Ninetales could learn it, but...

Anyways, some of my favourite moves are:

Curse--This is probably my top favourite move. I'm talking about the ghost version, not the one that makes Snorlax so overused. It's a perfect move to use on a trainer's last Pokemon. I especialy do this to gym leaders, since they usually use their best Pokemon last. Ahh, I remember that time in Gold when my Gastly used Curse on Whitney's seemingly-all-powerful Miltank, and I just hept stalling with my Pokemon until Miltank's afflictions caused her to faint... Mwahahahaha.

Magical Leaf--I like this attack simply because it's pretty. One of the reasons why one my best Pokemon in Sapphire is Roselia is because Roselia learns it. And another thiing I like is a couple of Psychic Pokemon can learn it, such as Kirlia and Mr. Mime.

Will-O-Wisp--Another attack I like for its looks. I especially like the way Phantom's Dusclops used it in a contest in the anime, it looked cool there... Anyways, aside from that, an attack that simply causes a burn? That's pretty darn good. My Banette and Ninetales proudly know it.

Hyper Beam--I don't care how bad people think this move is. 150 is a pretty powerful damage, and if used by a physical sweeper, it can most likely KO a Pokemon, and then you can switch out. I've loved this attack ever since Lance's Pokemon kept using it on mine in Yellow...

Dream Eater--It's such a powerful move (100 power), and it drains HP too! I really can't see why Hypno doesn't learn this by leveling up... because every Hypno I ever had knows this move, and of course Hypnosis as well.

Teleport--It's a great replacement for a Smoke Ball, especially if you have it on a speedy Pokemon like Alakazam. And plus, it's a great field move--you can return to a Pokemon center from anywhere outside. It's perfect if your Pokemon gets poisoned and you don't want it to faint by walking.

Confuse Ray--100% accuracy is pretty darn good for a status changer. The only thing I hate about it is when my own Pokemon gets hit by it--ARRGH!

Take Down--Lots of Pokemon learn it, and it's a great contest move--especially if the Pokemon also knows Harden and goes last. In a combo it gets... 12 appeal points!! (I also like Hi Jump Kick for this reason, when combined with Mind Reader, but only Hitmonlee and the Meditite family learn that combo...)

no, vulpix learns it at a higher level. i don't think ninetales learns anything on its own. a lot of stone-evolved pokes are like this, which is a shame because it's tough trying to raise pokes at their basic stage.

hehe i have vulpix/ninetales D/P moveset just about memorized now probably cus i'm a ninetales lover myself. can't wait to train one in D/P.

My favourite attack is Giga-Drain. It's cool animation and good effects

yup that's my fave move of all time too, i just blast after blast all TR grunts, Gym leaders and Elite four members in my way with that awesome Giga drain attack >D

Ninetales does learn Extrasensory in D/P.

OMG! it can learn it (but only before evolution as a Vulpix, but doesn't matter to me)

That's it, when I get D/P i'm gonna have a Ninetales on my team even thro I nearly always do anyway :D

I rather like Psychic *shot* It's a strong move, and one of my favorite types :D

Yes, Psychic is one of my favorite moves too. :D Not only is it powerful, but it's cool-looking too. *_*

Another move I'm obsessed with is Swagger. I love that move so much.. It's so risky, yet it could pay off big time in the end.

Another is Swords Dance. A lot of my Pokemon have this move. ^^

earthquake.because when you teach it to a swampert it can deal a lot of damage.but the only bad part is that it doesnt affect flying types and those with levitate but apart from that its a realy great move!

Ive realized something recently whilst playing my poemon fire red petal dance may not be that effective in winning battles but its a really elegant move and here is a tip for you all. Try using it in contests its worked wonders for me.

^ Yeah i usually only have petal dance on my contest pogey's, since it really isn't too effective in high leveled battles, and your pokemon can only hold 1 berry each >.<

Shadowball because I love Ghost type Pokemon. they are the best and Shadowball is one of the best Ghost type moves so thats why
