Favourite Pok?mon Theme Songs?

    Just as the title says. Which Pok?mon theme songs are your favourites?

    For me, generally speaking, I prefer Japanese Pok?mon theme songs that don't sound like Pok?mon theme songs (yes, I'm weird :P ). Specifically, ?Sokoni Soraga Arukara? (Because the Sky is There), ?Smile?, ?Pok?mon Ondo?, ?toi et moi?, ?Polka o Dolka?, ?Pok?mon Symphonic Medley?, ?READY GO!? and ?Challenger!!? are among my top favourites.
     
    Sokoni Soraga Arukara is definetly my favourite! Second place goes for the current opening, Battle Frontier.

    As for non-anime songs, I like all the official remix songs included in the Pokemon FRLG/RuSa Soundtrack. My favourites are, however, STEVEN STONE, Gym Leader no Chikara, and Rocket Dan no Kichi.
     
    hmmm..... I like all the theme songs really.... Japanese and English.... buuuut.... my favorite english opening is probably 'Pokemon World', and favorite Japanese opening is either 'Rival' or 'Okay'.
     
    English: The first opening, as it was melodic and not pretentious with the catching aspect of the game and play on the redemptive side with the Pokemon and criminals like the Rockets and pushing to be the best. Nothing like that. Reminds me of 80's rock almost. Almost.

    I Believe, is second place, it's contemplative and cerebral and has tones of finality and full circle.

    Japanese: Ready Go! Love the visual and love the melodic haunting tones, it's almost celestial in its own right. I just wish the Japanese version of the show didn't use it so much.

    Although Rival and Battle Frontier are growing on me and be second (because of the lovely visuals, one of the best in the series with all the cameos), third place. Whee.

    Since I dont exacty have a favorite except for Born To be a Winner, I'll rate every English and Japanese song
    Indigo English opening: the only reason I like this song is for the nastalgia and becuase it's the first song.
    Orange Island E: It was IMO pretty cool, the Pokeball effect in the begining was the coolest though.
    Johto Journeys E: This was okay, I like the lyrics, I just didn't LOVE it.
    Johto Leage ChampionsE: My favorite because the song was off the scale in coolness, Clair had THREE FREAKIN CAMEOS and that one cameo of Misty made me drool, where she's holding Togepi and staring.

    Masterquest E: I loved this song because it sounded so American and true! This song was truley one of the best guitar songs in Poke history.
    Advanced Gen1E: it was okay, the video was better though.
    AG2E: My sister's boyfriend said the song was poorly recorded and I agreed with him. But the pretty crystal blue background on the logo is so pretty. The song wasn't the best though.
    AG3E: of course everyone knows that I HATE the video but the song is actually pretty awesome if you listen to just the song. I've been hearing that they say this song is 80s style. Is that true? And if so, what makes it so?

    Japanese1: Until I saw the ACTUAL opening (saw only the remix and the Korean version till a few days ago. This song was incredible in so many ways, this weird nastalgic and the fact that I could sing the whole thing.
    J2: Rival isn't really that bad. The first several seconds of the song is good but I think they put too much of a variety into the song because first time I listened to it, I got a headache.
    J3: Megumi Hayashibara is an awesome singer! And the video made it even awesomer. Or maybe it was the first Japanese song I ever memorized. Still this song was insane!
    J4: I liked this better than the original. It was much cuter and more American-ish.
    J5: This was OK, not great but not too bad. A tad too techno-y for me and I didn't exactly like the way the singer pronounced the lyrics even if it is Japanese, it sure didn't sound to Japanese.
    J6: Okay again, not bad, nice and calm but sometimes a little too calm for me.
    J7: Ikkukyanai Yarukkyanai!!!! *sings song* I love this song because it's just so awesome and singable infact my mom says I often sing it without noticing.
    J8: I wrote an essay why I thought this song and video was incredible but I cant find it, nor do I have the guts to retype it all again.
    J9: I LURVE this song! I also love the singer too. I memorized the song practically within a day it was so incredible.

    Sokoni Soraga Arukara because it is so beautiful and also Ready Go!

    mine is Pokemon Advanced Battle
    its so good
    woahhhh im unbeatable pokemon advaned battle from grass the sea the sky and space and ancient past woahhh... oh sorry
     
    i like master quest and johto journeys and indigo league
     
    In terms of the theme songs, I've really only heard the dub ones (and Glory Day, which I didn't really like). From those, my favourite would likely be... Pok?mon World, perhaps. I don't know, none of them are really in my top list of songs...
     
    The Johto Journeies theme is my favoirte. It is fast-paced and the lyrics are really catchy.

    Everybody want to be a master
    Everybody wants to show thier skill
    Everybody wants to get thier faster
    Make their way to the top of the hill.
     
    I would like to add the 2002 mix of ?Mezase Pok?mon Master? to my list of favourite theme songs. It's not a lazily done mix modeled after the styles or "rules" of the other versions of ?Mezase Pok?mon Master?, and has a very nice fusion of Italian, electronic, and instrumental music, giving it a rather futuristic feel to the song.
     
    My favorite theme song is OK! I absolutely adore that song, its fast paced, great lyrics and the video to it is very cool.

    For the english one its the original song for the first season. Brings back memories for me, and I also like the Orange League one.:D
     
    My favorite themes would be the first pokemon theme and the pokemon advanced battle theme because it's so catchy and Sokoni Soraga Arukara because it's the most beautiful song i have ever heard:D
     
    yeah; mine is pokemon advanced battle theme, its catchy, just like everyone else says :D
