HAWLUCHA THO

Ignoring the fact that I'm not a big fan of Hawlucha's design in general, I still think the artwork could use some work. Like, is it stomping or flying feet-first? And what's with the thick red line that is coming from only its right hand? And those perpendicular fingers?

All hate aside, the colors are really nice and beautifully saturated, made better with the nice design effects scattered all over the edges of the card. I guess it's a decent card. I'd only use it when a Stadium card is in play, but I'd take advantage of its Counterattack by prolonging the card as active for as long as I can.

The regular Hawlucha card has really nice artwork.

It looks like a masked wrestler!

It can 2HKO most Ex's for 3 energy which isn't bad. For 130HP you'll lose 2 prizes, a basic and 3 energy which is a little worrying though.

It is definitely worryingly weak in terms of HP.

I wonder if this'll still catch on, though, since Stadiums are pretty common and kind of hard to remove from play once they're in.

I seen one in my card shop today and was extremely tempted to get it. Definitely my most wanted card out of that set but sinc I don't collect English Cards I passed. Fortunately the newest Korean Rising product out is the Hawlucha promo EX and 10 packs so I purchased one for £11. Can not wait till it arrives, such a nice looking card and glad to add it to the collection.
