Ruby didn't abandon Mimi. Mimi ran away because Ruby started scolding and shouting at poor her!;_;
And, I'm like, so prepared to justify my case by scanning the manga now.XD

I'm glad he regretted it though. Anyone who wouldn't regret driving away (including accidentaly driving away) his/her Feebas needs a doctor -.-
