4th Gen Female Starter-Pokemon

Hey Everybody!

I was wonderin if it is possible for your starter pokemon to be female, i know that the starter pekomen are 87.5% male and 12.5% female, does that mean that you are basically everytime gonna end up with a male starter pokemon or is it possible that its female too? I thought it might work if i save the game before i choose my starter pokemon and just try to restart it until its a female. would that actually work or is that just a waste of time?

Yes it is possible to get a female starter. There's just, as you said, more of a chance of getting a male. On my Pearl I got a female Piplup on my first try. Sometimes you'll get lucky like that, but more offten than not you'll get a male.

This thread is pointless. You just said it. There's a 1/8 chance of getting a female, so yes, you can, but it's more likely to get a male.
