FFXIV Glamour Contest​

MSQ tiring you out? Raids becoming a nightmare because your Healers are always trying to out-DPS you? Need a break from your retainers bringing you crystals? Look no further than this fun FFXIV Glamour Contest!

That's right, in this event rather than slaying great bosses or raiding huge dungeons, your task is coming up with most bedazzling outfit that Eorzea has laid eyes on! Or spooky, or cute or even outright weird and wonderful.

For this year's theme:

Magma vs Aqua​

Represent your team! If you are Team Magma, rise from the ashes with a fiery theme or reds or if you are Team Aqua, make a splash with an aquatic theme or blues!


ReShade and other shaders can be used to improve shadows and such if you so with to use them, they will not hold a huge sway when it comes to the decision-making so should not be a hugely unfair advantage.

Points will be as follows:

• Participating in the Event - 5 Points
• Bronze - 10 Points
• Silver - 25 Points
• Gold - 50 Points

I will not be judging based solely on how much, how rare or how expensive your glamour was. If it looks good, I'll be rating it highly and that's that! This is to ensure that the event is as accessible as possible, by trying to accommodate players at all points of their FFXIV playthrough!

FFXIV Glamour Contest - Results​

With the submissions closed and the judging concluding from myself and Aaron, it's time to see all the glamour you have submitted. These will be posted in alphabetical order.

Let me tell you, it was an extremely tough decision as everyone did well to represent their themes and there was a lot of thought put into each one of them and I wish everyone got first. I'm proud of you all. ;]

Austin
Kicking this off is Austin with his flaming samurai outfit! This outfit makes a fiery statement with the bold, red colours as well as wearing a kitsune mask! Everything feels so beautifully put together and the flame sword is a nice touch.


Cherrim
From the depths of the seas arises Erica with her (Blue) Red Mage glam! Using the Ascension Robe with the sleeves works well with the queen/princess motif well and the Lunar pin is a good touch. I also like the Leviathan Rapier.

Lozz
Here comes Lozz who so happens to being sporting a casual beach attire and a shark to boot! This outfit combines many blues to meld together in a gorgeous outfit, which is great for making waves.

Sammi
"THE LAND, THE LAND TAKES YOU!" Yells out a Team Magma Grunt. Oh are you telling me that Team Magma never said this and it was from another boss fight in FF14 instead? Oh, I got those messed up. Anyways, here's Sammi's Team Magma cosplay sporting a cat hood, using the jacket from a past Mogtomes, and pants to unify this look. Also, Fat Cat is the best Pokémon, don't @ me.

tenthcompanion
Arising from the ashes comes tenthcompanion's Groudon inspired glam, with a gunblade in hand! The colours are bright red and black to accent the armour with the claws on hands and feet. As a tank main myself, I always enjoy seeing other tank glams that are armoured!
