It's something i've been getting into lately~~ I've been playing the crap out of guiltygear and marvel vs. capcom 2!

I'm not too good at either of them yet, but im learning! :>

    Millia Rage / Servbot + B.B. Hood + Tron Bonne for reals~

I'm so glad I have an arcade close by with both games too. :>

I want to get into Capcom vs. SNK as soon as I can find it, as well!

Music on both games rocks as well. ^_^

i get into fighting games every summer it seems, wait, what's the point of this thread? just talk about fighters?
well, i have a few things to say... it's complete and total crap that gcn isn't getting the new street fighter collection... and we've never had a tekken game...
the only real good fighting games on the cube are capcom vs. snk 2 and soul calibur 2
(and maybe smash brothers if that even counts)
i'll be back to rave about how scenseless nintendo is for not giving us good fighters.

street fighter 3 rocks :D the music is the best ive heard from a sf game. and its a pretty good game too.

mvc2 is really good too. ryu / strider / SAKURA ;D;D;D

capcom vs snk is another good game aswell and mai is really hawwtttttt XD

    btw, sam where is this arcade >_>;;;

mai's kind of... weird... wouldn't it make sense to... i dunno wear clothes if you were in a street fight?
i dunno, maybe that's just me suffering from caffeine intake, but i'd rather go at my opposition with at least some armor, rather than a thong and a little fan

The team I tend to use for MvC 2 is Ryu, Iceman and Ken. Iceman pwns 2 of Abyss' forms (well, all 3 if he survives that long), and I'm a very old Street Fighter fan so I definately know Ryu and Ken.

Heh. you're right. i'd rather go at them with armour and weapons if i'm in a fighter. lol

btw, SC2 was REALLY popular back then (I'm still crap at it, even if I got everything out of the game. lol). Same with SSBM (I'm better at this lol...then again, I'm better with the ToS battle system than SC2.) back in the day. I wonder if they're even going to release another fighter for hte GCN. lol

the fruit of life, I think. That's the only reason i ever go down to the shore... the arcade games. Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Marvel vs. Capcom, Tekkan, and Mortal Kombat series. I only wish they could have Guilty Gear on arcade in the U.S.

I only own MvC 1&2 and GGXX...so that's one of the reasons i go to arcades to play but my roster would probably be...

    GGXX: I-no or Faust
    MvC2: Strider, Venom, Morrigan
    Mortal Kombat: Reptile or Smoke
    Soul Calibur: Nightmare or Yoshimitsu

this isn't consistant, but it's my usual

i can really only relate to you my soul calibur and capcom vs. snk 2 lineups because i don't play any others very often, except tekken maybe
    soul calibur 2: talim/raphael
c vs. snk 2: ryu, eagle, raiden
tekken: lei (i've really only played tekken 3, and i think that's his name)

I love Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon SuperS Fight Attack! That game is so bomb I play it with my friend Rita all the time and I always win!

The only fighting games I will even bother playing are Tekken games and the Dead or Alive games (unless you also count SSBM and WWE wrestling games) .... The 2D fighter doesn't appeal to me (SSMB doesn't count) they're to simplistic. I want to be able to side-step and enjoy lush eviroments in beautiful 3D. I guess you can call me bitter because I once was a fan of Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2 when I had it for the DC.... Those where the good days :'( but noooooo some bad things happened...... The one series that I'm dying for them to recreate on a current gen system is the Power stone series.... That is my all time favorite fighting game series.... It was all out chaos in those games.....

The fighting games I own are SC2 for GC and SSBM. I'm really good at both. Piakchu is my man in SSBM, and when I'm Kilik or Nightmare on SC2, you need to watch out. :D I'm out of practice though, haven't played them in some time. I might actually be beatable now.

I also have Killer Instinct for Super Nintendo. I used to be really good at it. Ironically enough, the character I was best at was B. Orchid, which was the only girl character in the game.

I wish I had a GCN to play SSBM, or anything on that console, really. My dear F-Zero. :(

I really cant stand 3D fighting games, honestly~ They're just too complex! :<<

I mean, 2D fighting games have so many technicalities like parrying and dusting and whatever crap whatever series has, but then you get even more stuff in 3D games~ crazy. x_x

both 3D and 2D have their own redeeming qualities. and you can sidestep people in some 2D fighters i think you can in King of Fighters... i don't really remember though.
and if you want to get a console to play fighting games on, don't pick gcn. it has smash bros. but it really has nothing else as far as fighting games go.
mortal kombat, smash brothers, capcom vs. snk 2, and soul calibur 2 are all the real titles.

I actually have a dreamcast / 2 PS2's (usa/jap) that I play all my stuff on, and for backup stuff, emulators and the such run fairly well for my gaming. I just ant a gcn because of other titles. XD!

I havent played much KoF, even though I have 2001 for dreamcast~ :3

*Grins* My favorite fighting game of all time is SSBM.

I own with Captain Falcon, Pichu, and Jigglypuff... So watch out, or you'll get splattered.

I also watched fight videos and implemented those into my skill bank, so... =D

everybody talks so big about their smash brothers skills... i really wish that we could play online and settle this (that's right drak, i'll "splatter" you with samus or pikachu, naw i'm kidding)

Meh, i pretty much suck at SSBM...the first i was better. It's probably the controls or the fact i've played the first one longer. I don't really consider that as much a fighting game as a melee type game. Iunno, my favorite fighters are mostly 2d anyway. There are so many you forget about that, i know i do, especially since i only own a couple (dbz budokai 1&2, soul calibur, mvc 1&2, cvsnk, and some others). Darkstalkers series was a good fighting game too.
