Fighting Games!

I had read that they released a BAT 4, but I can't find any concrete evidence. Even GameFAQs seems to have nothing on it. BTW, I just saw the Toshinden anime recently - interesting stuff, but they just left a lot of things open that even the games never touched upon. I wonder why they never released any Toshinden games past the PS1, though? I was thinking that someone should buy the license, revamp the characters, and release an uberly-cool game.

Never mind... GameFAQs has it listed as "Toshinden Subaru", although I also saw a boxshot proclaiming it as "Toshinden 4". Still, I've never heard about it until recently.

Man, I wish that somebody would buy the rights to Battle Arena Toshinden, revamp EVERYTHING to make it a lot better and add a lot of stuff to make it have a chance against the Soul Calibers, the Tekkens, the Virtua Figthers, the Street Fighters and all those great fighting games.

As for "Toshinden Subaru"... it was only released in Japan. I bet the reason was it series wasn't popular enough here. >< Heck, if they do ever release it... I'M BUYING IT!

However, it's nice to see some people who have played the Toshinden games besides me.

Anybody know of some REALLY good fighting game sprite places? There's some specifics I'm looking for that nobody seems to have.

I was in the exact same spot as you, weeks ago too... and I still am searching for more XD

Oh! I just recalled that I also need a sprite of Geese Howard as he appears in The King of Fighters: NeoWave. All I've found is a crappy Andy Bogard sprite edit for him.

Who've you beat the game with thus far? When I borrowed it from my sensei, I schooled it as everyone, then I found the Action Replay MAX codes to play as Mishima Jinpachi and Devil Jinpachi, and beat the game as them (they have no ending other than the one you get by losing to Jinpachi and not continuing, BTW). I tried to beat it as Tetsujin, but it froze after the first match.

It's supposed to be pretty good... although it's not a fighting game in the traditional sense. It's supposed to be infinitely better than Mythologies and Special Forces.

I just popped Street Fighter III: 2nd Attack in my Dreamcast yesterday. It was pretty fulfilling to play... just wiped everyone with Oro... but I still wish I had Garou: Mark of the Wolves...

ha! i was playing m vs c 2 at the arcade the other day, and i burned a hole in my middle finger from mashing to up my supercombos (it was ok though because i set the high score)... and on the topic of MK... most people who are really into fighting games don't care for that series. i don't play it.
i got my butt handed to me by a 12 year old girl in the arcade at tekken 3... that's what i get for not playing for a year i guess... but i beat KOF 97 again. it's a really fun game...
