It comes with the DS, you just have to have wireless internet at home i'm pretty sure.

in your Key items, you should have an item called the Pal Pad. if you use it, you have 3 options, check friends, register codes, and find own code.

No, The Thunderstone makes it Jolteon, the firestone makes it Flareon, the waterstone makes it vaporeon, leveling it up with max happiness at night makes it umbreon, and at day makes it espeon. I'm not sure on the other two, but i know they're not stone evolutions.
