    OK, i got the idea from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, but it doesn't have much to do with the game (besides it uses the same idea). OK, but anyways, so long ago the world was protected from Miasma, the great poison, by a giant crystal. One day a meteorite came crashing down and destroyed the crystal, cause chunks to go flying everywhere, but even worse, it left the land vulnerable to the Miasma. Monsters soon rose up in teh miasma, but they stayed away from the power of the crystals. Fyi, Miasma is an invisible "presence" that, if your are caught in it, you can only last for 30 secs at the absoluste most. As the miasma spread, people found that the crystals protected them, however, the size of the crystal affected its "barrier" range. Towns took big crystals and put them at their center to protect themselves. However, people found out that the crystals would run out of power, so every year a caravan would be sent (with one small crystal to protect the four to eight people on board) to collect three drops of myhrr to power the crystal chalice. For many years the world went on peacefully, until one day a hoard of monsters ransacked a village who's crystal was dying, and "intermingled" with them. Their offspring were demi-humans who thrived in the miasma, and who wanted to kill ALL of the "crystal-dwellers." They also invented dark crystals, which had a very limited range, and were not invincible, like the light crystals, but could nullify the effects of the light crystals.

    Meanwhile, in the town of Lutra, the time of year was coming around to raise up a caravan. Chris, a 16 year old boy, had just come back from signing up, and saw (whoever wants to be her, so INSERT NAME HERE), a girl who he had liked for a long time, and who he had become friends with recently. He though she like him, and was overjoyed when she signed up, despite the vast dangers that lay ahead of him.

    yes, you can join, but do you want to be a member of the current Lutra caravan or do you want to form your own from your own town (that's what town means, i probably should've been more specific, sorry guys).

    ok, so the caravan, with Kyoshiro, Chris, and Max Hunter, was making preparations to leave. They were told that anyone else who wanted to join could catch up. However, just as they were preparing, they heard screams coming from the front of the town. Rushing over there, they found that a group of demi-humans were attacking the town. Rushing foreward, they found that they were to become the town's first liine of defense.

    As they were fighting in battle, Kyoshiro, Max Hunter, and I (Chris) saw another warrior come out, whose name was Rialt Vireth. I charged foreward and attacked the nearest demi-human, only to find that they all had dark swords - swords that would poison your body if you were slashed. Being careful to aviod his swings, i attacked him, but was unable to hit him. I looked around and saw the other members of the caravan were double teamed, and, taking one lash slash at my opponent, hit him across the stomach and ran over to help my friends.
     
    I(Rialt) was exhausted, was there no end to this? The demi-humans just kept coming.
    Then I realized that I wasn't the only one fighting, two of the three caravan member were beside me. "Ahhh!" I felt a searing pain across my left arm. Lashing wildly both daggers found their mark in a demi-human's chest. My vision seemed to blur

    ooc: you can call me just Max, ya know? XD

    ic: I started to fight against the demi-humans. "wow! they are too many!" I yelled as I slashed one in the stomach and kicked him away from me. I quickly noticed the dark swords they had... and tried to evade them. Suddenly, I saw one warrior (Rialt) on the ground. "are you ok?" I asked him... silly question indeed. I saw his arm, and I thought a demi-human slashed him. Unfortunately, I couldn't stop fighting to aid him... they were too many. "Help! Rialt has been poisoned!" I yelled to my caravan partners.
     
    "Are you ok?" Sounds of fighting were still around me, I realized I had fallen and thought dead by the demi-humans. "Help! Rialt has been poisoned!" I heard from...who was that?.. I couldn't see. I tried to get up, only to discover my left arm was immobilized. "I'll be...fine" the words didn't come easily. That was the last straw. I wasn't going to die here. "Blizzard!!" The spell took three of the enemies by suprise. My conciousness was slipping away into darkness.

    (ooc: Just Rialt for me too. oh and Max, how do you know my name already?)
     
    ooc: ... umm...umm ^^; .... XD. Well... I thought everyone knew each other already... but if we don't, I can edit it..... oh... no one told me if there was a lighting magic?

    ic: I saw the poisoned warrior standing up. Then, he used blizzard and attacked some demi-humans. Anyway... there were still too many. I turned around and suddenly a demi-human jumping at me. I dodged it, but attacked quiclky with a kick on my face, really strong I must say. I fell to the ground, and stood up. I couldn't just surrender.

    I slashed him in both arms, and kicked him away from me as the other demi-human. Then, another came charging at me. I tried to dodge it, and he just cutted a part of my clothes... the clothes above the shoulder. "phew... he didn't got me completely" I said to myself, slashing it twice.
     
    ooc: yes there is a lightning magic, the spells are; Thunder, Thundara, and Thundaga. As for knowing each other's names, I had left the town 2 years ago with a "pocket crystal" so I figured I would introduce myself while Rp-ing

    ic: "Will this ever end?" I fought against the impulse to give up. I forced myself to my feet and there were only a few demi-humans left but... something didn't felt right, like a part of me was missing. I also noticed my vision had cleared and the pain was back in my arm. "Human!!" The cry alerted me. I spun around and hurled my right dagger at my attacker. It bounced off. "Oh no..." This wasn't good, a ten foot tall demi-human was charging at me and I was too weak to run. I stood my ground and braced myself for him.
     
    ooc: thanks for telling me... I remembered there was lightning magic... the three famous spells for all elements.

    ic: I smiled when I saw that there were not too many demi-humans now... but then... I felt like if there were a little quake. I turned around and saw the worst thing that could ever happen in that battle... a big demi-human! charging at one of us... the warrior that was poisoned. Though, the effect of the poison disappeared fast. He didn't run, and I couldn't just see how he was defeated by that thing. I always protected the others around me... that battle wasn't an exception.

    I ran and tried to protect the warrior. Then... I felt pain. I never knew what happened to the warrior, I just knew I was flying through the air and that I fell to the ground really hard. I laid there... all black. I felt weak and I couldn't move... that hit I got was really strong. Slowly, I tried to stand up.
     
    As all were fighting, they didnt know i was asleep in the caravan, when Rialt Vireth i fell and sleep. A quake started and i waked up, What the .... is going on!? When i saw at my back i saw a big Demi-human, i exclamed, now lets beat him, he can destroy the whole city in minutes! I cast some recovery magic to cure the new man(Rialt).
     
    I hardly stood up. I saw another warrior recovering the other one I protected. "Thunder!" I summoned a lighting on the giant demi-human. Then I tried to stand up on my sword. Then I felt my force coming back to me slowly. Then I got near the two warriors, the one I protected and the other one who just woke up. "so... any plan to defeat it?" I asked them.
     
    The world slowly came into focus, first of all I was on the ground. Then I remembered someone trying to protect my by rushing in front of me, it didn't work well. He went flying, then all I remembered after that was being struck down. "So... any plan to defeat it?" I heard from my right, I looked and saw my previous defender. "I have an idea, but it could take a little work..."
     
    "I will hear you... any plan is very helpful right now" I replied to the warrior. The demi-human stopped attacking... well, at least physically. He summoned a fire storm around us. "watch out!" I told my partners. I tried to protect myself, the fire storm was really strong... but I wasn't completely harmed... but I was weak, and after the attack... I was a bit weaker. "I suggest to you that say the plan before he kill us" I told the warrior.
     
    "I suggest to you that you say the plan before he kills us." He replied after the fire had passed. "Alright I'm going to hit him with Blizzard, and at the same time I need both of you to strike him once his armor is frozen, hopefully causing it to shatter."
    I had no clue why I was saying this, I had no clue if it would even work anyway. I slid my left dagger into my belt and prepared myself to start casting.
     
    I nodded. I knew that plan was crazy... but it was that or death. I looked at the giant demi-human. I sheated my sword, and prepared to cast my spell.
     
    "On the count of...forget the counting! Now!!!" Shouting, I cast the most powerful spell I could muster. The demi-human froze, but seemed to recover momentarily. "It's not... I'm going to try again." I started again, "Try this one you big ugly monster! Blizzara!!" He froze, I was going to need a long rest after this I thought, the ice was holding too. The only thing I could do now was wait...
