Final Fantasy VII is on the PSN? Thats great news, although I won't buy it. My original version of VII still works fine not to mention I'm sure it will be remade someday. Although this may change if I get a job, I will need more games to play on my PSP.
I suggest you should just for the sake that now you can play FFVII anywhere the hell you want, that's the beauty of the portable systems.
@Thunder, Actually FFXI sells extremely well. We single-player FF gamers don't know it, but there's tons of MMO gamers out there who play FFXI. Suprisingly, the MMORPG community is... huge. xD Square inhales gil with FFXI. It'll probably slow down considerably with the FFXIV release though.
Square this time around is trying to make FFXIV appealing to the single-player FF gamer - adding Uematsu back in and words such as "Hume", such terminology has only been Ivalice games, with all other humes being referred to as humans obviously in the other games.
If anything, FFXIV is fun to say, fun to type, and Amano's cover artwork is a lot better at XIV's than XIII's, though I must say vs XIII's cover was good.
*goes into Amano rant*
FF1's cover(redone logo) was pretty good, as was the PSP cover art. The original FF's 1-3 didn't have cover art at first.
FF2's was okay, it's fine with that or the PSP cover art.
FF3's was the most complicated design for a cover art thus far.
FF4's was excellent as Kain in the Cover art, but with Golbez Cover art on the DS, it seems too big, like FFXII's.
FF5's is nice, the fancy dragon lol
FF6's Magitek cover art was intricate, and one of my favorites
FF7's was... honestly, not the best. For all Amano could have drawn, he drew the planet. xD
FF8's is nice, and stuck to the plot well with the cover art.
FF9's is the crystal. I like the color yellowed, but the Crystal is, though reminiscent, too basic
FF10's, I love. The Sending drawn by Amano, this could be my favorite cover art.
FF11's was okay. I had little opinion on it.
FF12's is too big like the FF4 DS one, but still neat. If you turn it upside down, you get Dustia! xP
FF13's is basic again, maybe to stick with VII's, but I tend to like the intricate drawings.
FF14's now is nice, beautiful, though frankly I don't like it on the side of the FF logo. All previous had been more intertwined with the logo, especially FF5's Dragon.
*whew* Okay, I'm done. ;D xD
