You could always see if any friends or your parents would let you use thiers and give them the money for it.

I also found out some news regarding Dissidia Final Fantasy II. According to an interview between Takashi Arakawa and Yoshinori Kitase (director, writer, and producer) with a German gaming site, Kitase stated that a sequel would be 'very interesting', and might even include Kingdom Hearts characters, although it would still have to be discussed with Disney.

I could see Sora working like this.
Main Costume: Kingdom Hearts II
Alternate Costume: Kingdom Hearts
Main Weapon: Kingdom Key
EX Mode: Final Form (OathKeeper & Oblivion [to reference Roxas], although it could be both the KHI & II Ultima Weapons)
EX Mode Limit Break: Trinity Limit
Crystal: Heart or Gummi Block (They're all I could think of for something important that's crystal-like in KH)
Exclusive Weapons*: Kingdom Key, Star Seeker, Bond of Flame, Two Across (Take out Star Seeker and Bond of Flame and add Oathkeeper & Oblivion after Two Across if the Ultima Weapons are used for the EX Mode)

I think Riku would be the Chaos side Villian for Kingdom Hearts because he thought, through most of the series, that he belonged in the dark, much like Golbex.
Main Costume: Kingdom Hearts II
Alternate Costume: Kingdom Hearts
Main Weapon: The Way to Dawn (KHII), Soul Eater (KHI)
EX Mode: Dark Riku
EX Mode Limit Break: Dark Barrage
Exclusive Weapons*: The Way to Dawn, Oblivion, Dark Keyblade (from KHI), Darkside (Mickey's Keyblade)

*Take note that the equipable weaponry in Dissidia is only that weapon in its name alone, the weapon appearance will stay the same, unless in EX Mode for some characters, where it will may change into their Ultimate Weapons, I didn't give Sora his Ultima in this because the Oathkeeper and the Oblivion are important to the series.

lol i already replied to this in the KH thread :P but it still sounds awesome ^_^

I guess I love being random lol!

Anyway My big sis downloaded VI and It worked.....but when she Downloaded VII and It never worked but she is downloading it again!
But I really like VI and to me,VERY obsessive!

xD
ya people seem to have trouble with VII lately :\
i just kept it simple and downloaded ultima edition for the PC :P

Nah, I don't like the idea, KH it's good and all, but I would prefer to see Galuf, Rosa, Steiner, Ramsa or other people from the FF's, instead of Sora, Riku or other KH characters stealing spots, that can be perfectly used on FF characters.

If they want to do a KH fightning game, better do it with other name, like Kingdom Hearts [insert name here].

I don't want to see them using Dissidia to promote KH. Dissidia it's only for FF.

Yeah, I know Dissidia team, are also KH team, and they can do whatever they want with the games.

But this time, I don't see that feasible, cause FF storyline it's quite different from KH storyline, they're only related in that, some FF characters appears on KH.

Is probably useless what I just wrote, cause, it'll be carried out anyway. But if that is what they want to do, go ahead. Nothing to do there.

However, including Sora, as an extra character it's a good idea, but I don't wanna see all the KH cast there.

In the hypothetical case that they include more KH characters, better rename it to Dissidia: Kingdom Hearts?

What do you think?
I doubt that they'll fill it with Kingdom Hearts characters, there will likely only be 2, Sora and a villian, most likely Riku. I don't think that any of non-main characters, FF or KH, will be included as anything other than side characters. Besides, they'd have to ask Disney for every single character. They may just make the game Dissidia - Square Enix, with the series becoming the SE equivalent to Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. They couldn't really make a Dissidia: Kingdom Hearts because there are only 5 main characters, Sora, Roxas, Terra, Aqua, & Ven. There are also only 5 possible villians, Riku, Ansem, Xemnas, Xion, Master Xehanort.

lol thats what ive been saying for years! we need a SE Super smash bros game!

u also have to remember that characters like sora and riku arent JUST disney's creation, SE worked on it too so in a sense, sora and riku ARE Final Fantasy Characters.
*shot!* logic trumped :P

Technically Dissidia can be used for any Square Enix series, not just Final Fantasy. It was copywrited as Dissidia, not Dissidia - Final Fantasy, like most of the Final Fantasy games are, such as Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings was copywrited as Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings as opposed to Revenant Wings. Who knows, they may have intended this as the start of their own crossover series.

What do you expect to see in FF series in the future, or what do you want to be added?
Honestly, the only thing I want is for them to stop releasing these exclusive games for Japanese systems only..
Like the international versions of FF..
And I Really wanted to play the IZJS version of FFXII..
There's a big following in Europe and America.. why can't we have these versions of the game too?

Yeah, we are a major point of marketing, for them.

Why don't we get the international versions?
The reason behind that goes all the way back to Final Fantasy VII. When the game was released in North America & Europe, there were several changes or additions. Several areas of gameplay had been made more difficult by adding in new bosses, such as Emerald & Ruby WEAPONS. Random battle rates had been cut down, and Materia swapping between characters was made easier. Along with this, a flashback of Cloud and Zack was added in. This version was released, with no changes, in Japan as Final Fantasy VII -International-. The initial reason for many of the international versions was to be sure that Japan got the additions of the US & EUR versions. However, as the series goes on, more and more additions are added to the International versions.

You guys in Europe should count yourselves a little lucky, the version of Final Fantasy X released in your region is actually Final Fantasy X -International-, the Dark Aeons and Penance are proof of this, as they were added in the International version. The reason that it doesn't feature the word "International" is because it was the only version of FFX released there. The North American version is just the normal FFX.

There have actually only been 5 International Versions of these, with only 3 getting things that the US & EUR didn't have.
Final Fantasy VII: International
The International version of Final Fantasy VII is a direct port of the North American version, including all of its gameplay and storyline tweaks. It came with an extra fourth disc that included bonus background information about the game itself.
Final Fantasy X: International
This edition of Final Fantasy X included new Sphere Grids, new bosses such as the Dark Aeons, and with a bonus disc filled with special features. The International version is the only version of Final Fantasy X that was released in Europe and for that reason was not tagged with the "International Edition" tag.
Final Fantasy X-2: International + Last Mission
The International version of Final Fantasy X-2 was never released outside of Japan, unlike its predecessor. Along with the tweaks in gameplay allowing for use of additional characters and modes, this version including an extra postscript to game called "Last Mission".
Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII-: International
The International version of Dirge of Cerberus is a direct port of the North American and European versions, retaining all the gameplay changes that were made for North American & European releases.
Final Fantasy XII: International Zodiac System
Massive changes to Final Fantasy XII were made to its International version, some so great that the gameplay is almost completely different. It includes the Zodiac Job System, a completely new variation on Final Fantasy XII's battle system. It also includes a special bonus gameplay mode called Trial Mode.

Small Edit: I'm currently downloading Final Fantasy VII for my PSP, although I had to "borrow" my brother's MemStick since mine was only a 1GB, his is 2GB, and FFVII is 1.32GB..we'll just call it even since he lost my Memory Card, which was in my Wii..don't worry, I gave him my 1GB one..besides, he doesn't own a single game for it, he sold them all. I can't wait for it to finish downloading!

i still always thought it would be easier to make everything in the same format so any PS2 system (example) can play it. it would cost a little more for the translations to be placed in all the games, but it would make them more money in the long run if the regions came together and made a single format, and not divide it into their respective regions. like KH final mix for example it pisses me off cuz i really want to get it but i dont really want to spend the money hard-modding my PS2 just to play imports.

I know. I don't understand why they so this. However, all it takes to take away Region Blocking is to place a mirror in a certain spot inside of the PlayStation 2 system (theoretically any system, I'd have to check) in the Disc Tray area. My friend did this so he could play the Japanese only Tales of Destiny II, not to be confused with the American game of the same name, which is called Tales of Eternia in Japan, name changed due to He-Man.

I understand that some of the International versions are only upgrades to what we have..
But there are versions that should have been released over here..
Like the following:
FFX-2 International + Last Mission:-
Featured new Dresspheres, a new system that allowed you to capture monsters and use them in battle, as well as some other new features, and the totally new "Last Mission" gameplay
FFXII International Zodiac System: -
As they pretty much Overhauled the Lisence Boards, to feature Job Classes, put in new items, and added NG+ with two options - "Weak" and "Strong" mode, and let's not forget Trial Mode, with new, not-seen before bosses, there's no excuses for it not being released on western shores.

I can't think of a reason either, other than it being a "tradition" or other such nonsense. They were considering to release Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ in NA & EUR, which is the KHII equivalent to the FF series' International, although they didn't, they did release Kingdom Hearts re:Chain of Memories in NA, which was a part of KHII Final Mix+, so I suppose thats a start at the very least.

I have a theory though, I believe that because of video game systems offering Download Content that its entirely possible that there will be no more Final Fantasy Internationals or Kingdom Hearts Final Mixes as the extra features will simply be added as download content, which has a much easier time of being offered in other regions. The current systems that support DLC are Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable. I assume that the Wii and Nintendo DSi are capable of it as well.
I do believe that there will be a Dissidia Final Fantasy: International though since the North American & European releases will have added features. I hope that it won't feature even more added features though.

no the only reason that they don't do it is because everyone is only worried about their own region, and financially, that's the smart way to go. but i think if they were to take a risk and do what i mentioned earlier, they would see a lot more profit, since people buy imports anyway after modding their systems.

ya theres been rumors for the last few years that KH2FM+ is comin to NA and EUR but the teams working on them keep saying that it is definitely NOT coming over, but that can always change. i think originally they only brought the PS2 version of CoM over is because fans were clamoring for the 3D version instead of the GBA one (i personally loved the GBA one :P)

and yes the Wii and DSi both feature dowloadable content
(of course the DSi needs to actually sell before anyone cares lol most people don't see enough reason to buy it since they took out the GBA cartridge drive)

I prefer reChain of Memories, I like the VA & 3D as well as added elements. I also sold my GBA CoM to add to my Dissidia reservation.

Also, anyone wanna guess how far I've gotten in Final Fantasy VII for the PSP by the following picture?
Spoiler:

Haha Cloud looks very girly there, funny pic.
Yeah, Manga/Anime Laws strike again! Any character of an average body type can adequately assume a perfect form of the opposite gender whilst crossdressing. Number 1 Cases: Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII and Sailor Uranus from Sailor Moon.
I also had to giggle about all of Tifa and Aerith being blurred except for Tifa's breasts. I'm also trying to figure out how Cloud got breasts.

Also, Corneo picked Cloud. I got all the best items. Silk Dress, Blonde Wig, Diamond Tiara, Sexy Cologne, Lingerie, and I made sure to get one of the HoneyBee girls to put make-up on him.

I restarted FFVII recently.
I always get everything in the crossdressing section..
The Dialogue after Cloud is picked is the funniest..
"I'll cut them off.."
Always made me laugh.

I really wish i had ff7.. I only have 1,2,3 8-12 and the spinoffs.. I'm thinking about restarting 9 or 10 so hmm. Anyone have any opinions on which one's better?

My personal favorite was Final Fantasy VI, known as III on the US SNES. I also really like VII, IV, II on the US SNES, VIII, X, IX, & V in that order. I haven't played II all the way, I had no story, and III is the same, except for the DS, which had a story, which was pretty good.

If you want to try Final Fantasy VII, its available for the PSP/PS3 via the PlayStation Network for 9.99 in North America & Europe.

Sorry I been gone for so long xD School's finally out, and I downloaded FFVII, and I JUST got to the Temple of the Ancients, which is like at the end of Disc 1! DX

I had my date with Tifa, and I whipped Godo with Yuffie solo already. Cloud's level 34, Tifa level 34, and Cid level 33, but I had to take him out since Aerith must be in the party at this time... So sad Dx It's almost here!

Other than that, I've been playing and streaming live FFXII: International Zodiac Job System and Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+!

School's out, yay! I can be on a ton more now. ;D

It must happen! Aerith must....must......-bursts out crying-
I hate sephiroth now!

I'm not really an Aerith fan... but that scene... is still sad. ;A; It's really interesting if you have Yuffie and Tifa in the party.
She...
Iunno if this is considered a spoiler or not... sooooo...
Spoiler:

I had Tifa and Barret at the time(yes I just got through that part) and Barret just walked off (nothin' gonna affect Barret lol) and Tifa started shaking and crying like crazy before running off. :(

I prefer Tifa and Cloud together, and Zack and Aerith together, yet I love both Tifa and Aerith, such amazing characters(though never as good as Ashe) I can't truly fault Sephiroth becuse even though it's sad, it's still really badass. XD
