"I know Kemina. I also have this eerie feeling still, but whatever happens so must we stay strong. We owe it to this continent of Elibe. However, there's still one thing that bothers me. If Nergal and all his morphs are dead, then how come that someone else then Eliwood, Hector and Lyn and the other who was with them knows about the Dragon's Gate? Of course, I know this because of Oswin has told me this, but what about this certain person? How come he or she knows about it?" Wasen said.
 
"I didn't really hear much the last time the Dragons gate was opened. The few things I heard were from people during my travels. Mostly rumors I found out later so I don't really know who all was involved last time." Kemina said shrugging. "I'm just glad I've got the energy to change into my form if needed."
 
At that moment, the door to the room flew open, and a sixteen year old girl came in dressed in all black, scratching at her jet black ears. She yawned and her yellow eyes looked around the room at everyone, who were now staring at her. "Wait... What did i miss?"
 
Wasen turned around as he heard how the doors flew open. How did she get in here? This is the throne room for Roland's sake! Not just a room you can walk in whatsoever! He took a closer inspection on the girl and directly saw the similarities between her and Kemina.
"Do you know her?" Wasen asked.
 
Kemina looked up as the doors flew open and a girl about her age walked in. It took her a minute but Kemina recognized her as a laguz. "Do you know her?" Wasen asked her and Kemina looked more closely at her.

"Shay...is that you?" Kemina asked remembering her childhood friend that was taken from the tribe.
 
"Kemina?" The girl brushed her black bangs out of her face and looked at the other girl, her tail flicked to the side absently. "Y..Yeah... it's Shay.." Shay held her hand out to Kemina, "How have you been?"
 
"So you're name is Shay..." Wasen said with fixated eyes on Shay. "Nice to meet you, but I gotta say that burst into Eliwood's throne room like that... That shows a great lack of respect." Wasen said and looked at the wall clock. "Well, I guess it's almost time then. Shall we go?" Wasen asked and looked at Kemina and Parthos.
 
Kemina took her hand and shook it "Nice question, I've been banished how bout you" her voice was laced with sarcasm. I thought she was dead...but the scent is defiantly Shay's she thought her tail swinging.
 
Shay turned to Wasen and smiled a little, "Sorry.... heh." She looked back at Kemina, "and I've been good actually, Made some new friends in Gallia as a matter of fact."
 
"That's great Shay" Kemina said before turning to Wasen "Yeah I've been ready to go" she said nodding after looking at Parthos. Kemina got an idea and turned to Shay "Hey Shay why don't you come with us."
 
As Garith was storming out of the room a laguz girl came in. "Great another laguz little girl hopefully she's not as useless as the other one," Garith growled. "Oh by the way Eliwood if you plan on this group of people to fight for you and get that gate closed good luck count me out I've changed my mind about it not worth my time," He added as he stormed out angrily. The storm was gone and the sun was shinning. "This was a waste of time and something about today is making me upset but i can't figure it out," Garith thought as he started walking
 
Parthos watched as Garith and Eliwood fought, the lord was gracefull but something about Garith was clunky like he was agitated. He found himself disliking Garith very much, especially when he said that "You two are quick to risk your lives for a girl you just met," Garith snapped at Parthos and Wasen. "She's not completely weak, she's a laguz cat she should be fine on her own unless she cannot transform into her animal form which would be strange,"

You can't do anything when your afraid, but he didn't reply there was no point in argueing with this man he would probably just snarl at me, Parthos thought. Then when Kemina actually asked the question, "There are times when I just can't turn into my cat form it's odd but true and in those times is when I'm defenseless...and he does have a point. You two just met me why are you so willing to risk your lives for me?" she said turning to Wasen and Parthos. He just looked at her smiling, "because we are companions who will travel together."

When the fight was over, what an angry man Garith is, Parthos thought, then Wasen asked "Anything special you are going to take with you? I am done as I can be. Hector's order was to get here as fast as I could so I needed nothing but my armor and weapon to get here."
"I see, well I'm fine as well" Parthos smiled though it was a rather sad one. He zoned out after that, thinking again and again. Then the doors burst open and he jumped he saw Garith storming out as well growling
"Great another laguz little girl hopefully she's not as useless as the other one,", What a bast- He then noticed it was another laguz who came in, who also looked like Kemina, he silently listened to the conversation wondering Why are there so many foreigners here? and also being very confused. He couldn't stop thinking how much Garith irritated him, "Kemina isn't useless she just gave us our first lead more usefull than you Mr. Grumpy." Parthos didn't realise that he actually said this with a growl quite like a dogs.

Wasen noticed a lot of irretation from Parthos and lay his hand on his shoulder calmfully so he would not do anything stupid. "Easy Parthos, my friend. He has his way and we have our own way and for now do we have to accept that." wasen said and turned to Shay. "You're welcome to join us if you want but I'll warn you. It could be the most dangerous thing you have ever done." Wasen said as he walked out of the throne room to the outside of this big fortress and waited for the other to come so they could start saving the world.
 
Parthos looked up to Wasen when his hand was carefully placed on his shoulder and said "Easy Parthos, my friend. He has his way and we have our own way and for now do we have to accept that."
but do you accept slander to your own allies as the dark whisper went through his mind he said "Yes, i'm just...over-protective well thats what they said back home" and he made a weak laugh troubled by his own reactions, he knew he would never win in a straight on fight with Garith after all he was a mage alone they could be beaten easily unless they were powefull like the Archmage...or the Mage Knight.

Even if he only knew Kemina for a very short while and they agreed to travel together, this meant a lot to him even though he doesn't have a reason it still made him happy and protective.

"Yes, i'm just...over-protective well thats what they said back home" Parthos responded with a weak laugh.
"I'm glad you think I'm not useless, and over-protective isn't a bad thing. I see now that I made a good choice in deciding to travel with you Parthos" Kemina said with a smile.
 
Wasen nodded. "Over-protective isn't a bad thing. He's being a jerk I know that but there's nothing we can't do. We have a mission to succeed and the whole world is at stake." Wasen said and saw how three silluettes closed in from afar. One of them was unmistakably lord Eliwood with his red hair and the other one beside him was Ninian. The third one was a little harder to recognize until they closed in. The person han green hair in a ponytail and the strike of Sacean beauty was clear. It finally came to Wasen's mind who she was.
"L-lady Lyndis" Wasen said and got down on his knees and bowed.
 
"I'm glad you think I'm not useless, and over-protective isn't a bad thing. I see now that I made a good choice in deciding to travel with you Parthos" Kemina said with a smile.
Oh ho ho ho ho.
Wasen nodded. "Over-protective isn't a bad thing. He's being a jerk I know that but there's nothing we can't do. We have a mission to succeed and the whole world is at stake."
A stupid grin spread across Parthos's face same with a blush. "That's...how nice" he coughed a bit, he was like a dog that just got a treat. When he noticed that Wasen was bowing and said "La-Lady Lyndis" he looked up and noticed the amount of royalty in front of him and followed suit and bowed.
 
Has Garith started walking down on his path away from the others he noticed the old man from yesterday walking toward him. "Hello Garith!" The old man exclaimed with a wide grin on his face. "Hello sir but I never told you my name," Garith said confused on how the old man knew his name. "I know a lot of thing Garith Valkyrie like how you were being rude and arrogant to the other people in the fortress challenging lord Eliwood wasn't a smart idea," The old man began. "Wait how do you know all that?" Garith asked interrupting the man. "Don't interrupt me!" The old man shouted smacking Garith on the forehead. "Anyway you're upset because you're far away from home and you miss friends and more importantly you miss your old teacher Brimnir," The old man began now sparking Garith's attention. "My name is Galvor and I'm an old sage who helps warriors who have lost their ways," Galvor said introducing himself. "You're destiny is to help this band of young warriors save the world they'll need your skills and you'll need there's Garith you'll epically get close to one of them," Galvor said winking. "What do you mean?" Garith asked confused. "You'll see soon enough Garith now go back in there apologize and start acting like your old self," Galvor said as he handed Garith a sword. "Here take this it's a special sword of mine I named it Xyer it has help many travelers before you so I hope it helps," He finished as he pushed Garith back toward the fortress.

As Garith walked toward the fortress he took a good look at the sword. The hilt was dark black and the blade itself was a shinning gold. "Wow this looks amazing must have been made by a great blacksmith," Garith thought as he took of his cloak and his old sword and placed Xyer on his back. He wrapped up the sword in his cloak and wrapped the cloak around his waist the sword pointing outward. Once Garith got back inside he didn't look at the others he just went straight to lord Eliwood. "I apologize for my rudeness I was feeling home sick but now I'm willing to help now if you want me too I'm a natural born leader I'll lead this rag tag team if you want," Garith said apologetically.

"No, please. Stand up." Lady Lyndis said. Wasen stand up and saw that a certain someone had return and even though he apologized so did Wasen think it still was very rude to call this a 'rag tag team'.

"Apologize accepted. I know how it feels myself to get homesick sometimes. However, I won't let you have the leadership. You may have some experience in battles but it's not only strenght alone that makes a good leader. Virtue and compassion is as much important. I will maintain the role as a leader with lady Lyndis as a second in command. Now, let's get going to Badon. I've sent a letter to Fargus and he has accept to take us to Valor. When we well are in Badon so will we get accompanied by lord Hector and Serra, a healer."
Wasen smiled when he got to hear that lord Hector is going to be a part of this. Wasen had always seen him like a model for him. However, Serra would surely be as annnoying as she always had been. Acting like a princess all the time.

Kemina had bowed when Lady Lyndis came in and stood when she told them to stand. Listening intently as Garith came back in and apologized to Lard Eliwood. After how he treated the rest of us he definently needed to apologize she thought remembering the comments he had made. Kemina smiled when they were told they were about to leave she was already ready.
