FIRE RED - Ripping a song from a game to my FireRed rom without crashing it

Hi guys. I'd like to know where I can find a good tutorial to rip songs from a ROM and replace it on my FireRed ROM.

I recently followed this tutorial but I can't seem to get it right, I wonder if there's another simpler way.
Maybe simpler than Sappy?
