[Script] FIRe RED - START MENU - NEED HELP

    im trying to skip oak giving the player a pokemon but still give them the pokedex. I got everything working alright except that when I use the start menu there is no "pokemon" tab. I've tried setting a few different variables but I get this glitch where I get the safari zone menu and can retire. Any help would be nice, any more details ill be happy to provide.
     
    Have you set the flag for Pokémon?

    0x828 will activate the Pokémon Menu when checked.
