for you EVd pokemon, how is it that their EV spreads add up to 512?

i still have to figure that out,

when i looked up an ev training guide it said that the pokemon will have 8 evs left over if you max out 2 stats,

but then like 5 min ago, i just realized, that. 252 + 252= 504

im confused >>. i know as a fact though that my gabite has the ev spread i posted. (i got the effort ribbon)

*sigh* i wasted time fighting those extra zubats for the 8 evs instead of 4 lol

Squirtile: hasty, sassy and there is a lvl 14 one that doesnt know rain dance, is nature is brave

Riolu:serious,hasty,careful, and the riley egg one, is jolly.
