Rub it in, why don't ya? :p

The first computer I used was probably an Apple IIe. Our elementary school had a computer lab with about twenty of these, only two of them had color screens. I remember there would be some fights over them.

The first computer I owned...well the family owned was an 286 I think. I was quite young at the time. I'm not sure if these specs were all from the time, as it got upgraded a lot: 100MB hard drive, 4MB RAM, no sound card, 16 color graphics.

Time passes, now I own a computer I built myself and a laptop. Desktop is a 3200+AMD 32bit, 1280MB RAM, about .5TB (~500GB) hard disk space, ATI 9600XT AIW. Laptop is a 2.0GHz Centrino with 1024MB RAM, 60GB hard drive, ATI x300.

The first computer I used was probably in prep, when I was four. We had computers running DOS in the classroom, I believe, and a dot-matrix printer. Those things were seriously cool. @_@

First Windows would have been when I was about 6. Around the time I started grade 3 we got a home computer running Win95, and that was also the year we started taking computer classes at school, where we had Win3.1.

Linux came late, I was in year 12 so I would have been... 14. It was when I went and did work experience at a university research centre... I got to use the supercomputer too. :D

heh heh heh, ive owned a computer for almost forever starting with the 286 and ending with the computer im in the process of building, YAY computers
