4th Gen First Impressions of Platinum

    So, many of you have gotten Platinum today, but I'm sure you haven't gotten very far in the plot. So how are your first impressions of Platinum? Is it all you expected it to be? What are some cool things you've found so far, and are there any let-downs?

    I'll edit this post when I get the game at noon (GRRR).
     
    I didnt get mine yet. But, I'll post as soon as I get it.
     
    Return TM in the beginning = Win

    And the battle GUI has been nicely updated.

    Oh, and SNOW!
     
    I'm liking it. Like every single other Pokemon game, it is very similar. However, it does have many minor tweaks that just multiply together to make the game very fun. For example, Prof. Rowan giving you the Return TM at the very beginning.
     
    yup. that return TM will be useful later on in the game.

    My friend just started it and it looks alright. It's almost like any other game.

    I'll be waiting for her to make it to the Distortion World. I want to see that!
     
    ill get it by 1 clock im not one of those people who bought it first thing even though i got diamond 1st day
     
    I found that Bidoof looked uglier than I remembered.

    But other than that, Platinum has felt great. (At least, once I got the running shoes)
     
    just got mine like an hour after Gamestop opened

    Total Awesomeness, although i haven't gotten to Oreburgh yet, i keep having to restart because my Chimchar keeps getting the wrong Nature

    I don't have it but my brother's friend does. Quite cool. He also got the Giratina statue--a lot smaller than I thought. :(

    I'm SO saving my money for this game.

    Looks great so far. I like the trainer sprites better than in Pearl. :)
     
    Got it about twenty minutes to go. Impressions, I LOVE IT!
     
    I got it, and I love it.. But my DS got on red, so I need to find the charger. :(
     
    Platinum is most certainly updated. I'm so in love wit it<3.
     
    Got it around noon, and started playing like 130.
    I'm currently at the Oreburgh Gym, about to take it on ^^
    I love it so far, everything seems much..idk cleaner

    EDIT;
    And Romeo (my Chimchar) just evolved :D
