    What was the first wild pokemon you encountered when playing a pokemon game? Do not say any starters or traded pokemon, just that first mon that you came up against in red or silver, or whereever you started...this also doesn't count the pokemon like zigzagoon and poochyena that you have to fight to save the professors.


    I would have to say mine was sentret since I started playing silver first, then I got red a little later.
     
    Either Pidgey or Rattata on Red. I get the feeling it might be Pidgey though.
     
    Mine was a Pidgey on Pokemon Red.

    I think it was either a sentret or a pidgey. That was for the first game i owned. The first i ever saw, dont know cuz i was playing my firneds jp green version and didn't even know much about pokemon. plus the graphics sucked so i couldn't tell anyway
