4th Gen First Nintendo Event for D/P: Darkrai

    Apparently, to coincide with the 10th movie release, the Darkrai Event is going to be released in Japan.

However, you will not receive Darkrai by catching it yourself after going through the in-game story, but rather just receive Darkrai.     Yea I think they should have made the event 2 weeks before or after the movie came out because it doesn't seem fair that Japanese kids have to decide whether they want to see the 10th movie when it comes out or get Darkrai, unless if they have time to do both. But next time they shouldn't cram things anymore

    Hopefully we (Players in the U.S.) don't have to wait 7 months after the game is out to get our first Event-only pokemon :)

    Um, you might want to read that again--you don't go through the event to get this Darkrai. You just get it instantly.

    It's interesting, though, that the Darkrai comes with Dialga & Palkia's moves (though, why you would want them both is beyond me). Gives incentive for even those that hacked for one already...

    I see what you mean, badly phrased. My bad.
    You get the card during the event and go through the storyline. xD

    The hacked ones or even the glitched ones don't come with the exclusive moves do they?

    Um, no, you're still wrong. This event doesn't give you the Member's Card. This event just gives you Darkrai right off the bat, no storyline involved whatsoever.

    Of course not. It wouldn't have been worth mentioning otherwise, now would it?

    Oh I see. Yeah, Wikipedia had it down differently.
    There's suppose to/should be a storyline event to go with Darkrai though. xD

    It's kinda weird how Darkrai has it though... it then has an element of control over both time and space then.
     
    There is a story line that goes with darkrai, just not this time, which is awesome!

    Also lol, I can hack pokemon and If I want I can make a darkrai have the 2 signature moves of Palkia and Dailga, I just don't because It's unfair.

    Umm... the Nintendo Events aren't Wi-fi from what can be told so far. That would make it way too easy for everyone to get rare Pokemon. I think it's still that you would have to go there physically to get it.
     
    Must be the MOVIE wannabe Darkrai. Now you have a excuse of someone thinking you have a hacked Darkrai with Roar of Time and Spacial Rend!

    I deny a hacked version of Darkrai. I prefer the semi-legit version or the full-legit version. I can't go to Japan to get it because I don't have that expensive kind of money for a plane ticket there.
     
    Plus, you might start thinking to hard what they are saying. Unless they know English too. (Or some other launguage.)

    How will this work for foreign audiences, exactly? I know the Pokémon movies in the English world are direct-to-video now. Unless they let Toys'R'Us give out Darkrai on the DVD release date or something like that, I don't see how it'd work. And there's no way it'll get into theatres--even if it did, it'd be something like 10 theatres in North America.
