First pokemon you catch?

The first Pokemon I catch [in Sinnoh] that I actually use is Shinx.

For the first Pokemon I ever caught [but never used], it's obviously Starly.
 
Kanto: Caterpie (Blue); Spearow (Red); Mankey (Yellow); Spearow (FRLG)
Johto: Pidgey pwns Falkner
Hoenn: Wingull...
Sinnoh: Kricketot because Kricketune can False Swipe, Fury Cutter, and beat most opponents. Yes, I even beat Cynthia's Garchomp in DP (Swords Dance + Natural Gift)
 
Kanto-PIKACHU!!
Johto- I think Sentret
Hoenn- Zigzagoon
Sinnoh- Shinx <3
 
First pokemon I catch? well

johto-pidgey =P
hoenn-pochyeena
and
in Sinnoh-starly.
 
Kanto - Pidgey or Nidoran ( male or female)
Johto - i don't know,maybe a ledyba or mareep
Hoenn - Poochyena or a Zigzagoon
Sinnoh - Shinx and\or Starly
 
I try not to catch anything in the starting areas. I train up my starter and catch the more interesting pokemon in the more advanced areas. :P But I've always liked to catch a caterpie and a weedle to turn into Butterfree and Beedrill. They're my favourite bugs. :D
 
Jhoto - Pidgey
Hoenn - Poochenya
Sinnoh - Starly

i think flying types are best to start of with...
well thats just my opinion.
 
Kanto: I didn't know how to catch pokemon until I got to the first cave, where I caught the zubat. And that old man? I just skipped through the text xD

Johto: Hoothoot, first one I saw.

Hoenn: I never liked any of the pokemon in the fields there, so I waited until I found mawile somewhere.

Sinnoh: Shinx.
 
Kanto - Usually a Spearow (Non-conformity ftw!), then possibly a Nidoran male or a Pikachu in Viridian Forest. In Yellow it's usually a Pidgey and a Mankey instead.
Johto - Spearow, Bellsprout or Geodude
 
Kanto - Nidoran M
Johto - Hoothoot
Hoenn - Ralts
Sinnoh - Abra
 
The first pokemon I catch, well it's pidgey in kanto, sentret in johto, zigzagoon in hoenn and starly in Sinnoh.
 
Kanto : I am too lazy to catch pokemon in the beginning of the game , so I picked my second pkmn in celadon ,
It is an Eevee .
Johto : Gastly in sprout tower
Hoenn : waiting for absol and milotic in the niddle of the game . .
I never play D/P/Pt , I don hav NDS and I wantd to buy one XD
But , in the beginning , I prefer nidoran male , gastly , ralts or nincada . Yeah . . .

Johto-Sentret (but never used it)
Hoenn-Poochyena
Sinnoh-Starly

I guess the first pokemon I caught in Silver that I used was Mareep.
 
Kanto: Pidgey
Johto: Usually a Pidgey, too.
Hoenn: Poochyena
Sinnoh: Shinx!
 
Kanto - Pidgey, which I always evolve into a Pidgeot and add to my final team.
Johto - Hoothoot, I think.
Hoenn - Forgot. x_X
Sinnoh - Starly, same as Pidgey.
 
Kanto - Rattata.
Johto - Hoothoot.
Hoenn - Zigzagoon.
Sinnoh - Starly.
