2nd Gen first pokemond adventure

My Brother's Blue or Red, named myself my real name(something I then stopped doing until D/P/Pl) the thing is I was getting pissed about the game as I was just mashing A because I couldn't read and they were talking alot, I chose a Charmander as my starter and because I was pressing A, and unintentionaly said yes for a nickname, I got more pissed because to me the game was asking for my name again, put in my name. In Viridian Forest caught a Caterpie/Weedle and again clicked yes for nickname, upon seeing I had to put my name in again, I just quit the game.

My cousin had Yellow, where I would hone my skills for the my first OWNED Pokemon game, Gold! Loved it.
 
My first journey was yellow

having a pikachu follow behind me but the wierd part was that my actual name is Ash, Ash bellamy

But anyway i knew i had to catch the all with ash ketchums team
 
It was Red, and I have a Bulbasaur. I don't remember much, aside from my cousin constantly beating me in link matches, and having a deep conversation with my best friend revolving around a play of words with "Josh saved the game!"
 
How about we not bump stuff over a month old, yeah?
