FIRST POST:in your opinion whats the best and worse pokemon anime

mine is orange islands for the best because it had some good people and movies meanwhile journeys for the worse goh and chloe are kinda annoying and boring and it was random and trash but it was good until ep 10 so i stopped watching

The best for me is Pokémon: Battle Frontier. In this season, Ash really starts to make a name for himself as an innovative battler and eventually a Top 8 world-class trainer.
Worst for me is Pokémon: Johto Journeys. The sheer amount of fillers just killed any sort of momentum this season had. The stretch from Goldenrod to Ecruteak was just brutal.

Best: The PokéToon singles, in particular The "Pancham who Wants to be a Hero" (IMO, the kinoest Pokémon storyline in single release format).

Worst: the Ashnime, in as much as it is obvious. If I had to pick a particular season, any season after G4 will do (though at least G5 sucked for no fault of its own).

Special mention to the Creation Trio movie storyline (M10, M11 and M12), the first, last and best chance the movies continuity had to make a connected storylin and they managed to make it work.

Favourite is probably the Alola anime, which is ironic because those are my least favourite games. The characters are finally allowed to cut back, and be zany and expressive, which helps a lot in a comedy like the Pokémon anime.

Least favourite... Unova. Full stop. Team Rocket is ruined, plus Ash's worst companion reared her ugly head here.

Favourite: SInnoh. Specifically Battle Dimension. Dawn was Ash's best companion hands down, i loved Ash's battles with Maylene and Wake. the whole Wallace Cup arc was incredible plus I do love May too so seeing her come back was great, watching Paul's abandoned chimchar rise up with Ash as it's trainer to be a real powerhouse was phenomenal. It was just perfect.

Least Favourite: Indigo League
Well, look at that. the first one is terrible when you don't have nostalgia goggles. Ok in all seriousness I think the Alola anime looks worse visually but the indigo League is so boring, the battles are so boring, Ash gets half his gym badges without actually beating a gym leader in battle, there's some serious BS like the sprinkler system in Brock's gym and of course, he loses to Ash 2.0 by charizard being lazy.
