4th Gen First Shiny!

    Well, I've been playing pokemon since the first generation, but I have absolutely terrible luck :P so I've never caught a shiny. However, just now when I was doing some grinding in Soul Silver, on route 48 by the Safari Zone, I encountered a shiny diglett! I was... well, way too excited. hehe...

    Anyhow, I just had to throw a quick ball and it was mine!

    Anyone else remember their first shiny, or care to share a story about shinies in general?
     
    As we already have a shiny discussion thread here I'll close. I would move this to Pokemon Gaming Central as this can easily apply to any Pokemon game with which shiny Pokemon was one's first (as opposed to just shiny Pokemon in 4th gen games which as said there's already a thread for); however they have a thread on this topic that's just within the bumpable period still. So I suggest posting there now, or reposting this thread in that section tomorrow ie after it's over a month old since the last post.
