4th Gen "Flame Body" Ability affects Egg Hatching

Okay, so some of my friends said to me that if you keep a Pokemon that has the ability "Flame Body" (Like Magmotar, Macargo, ect...) so I decided to test this out with my Magmotar and some Charmander eggs.

1. I put a Magmotar in my team
2. I picked up the first egg from the day care man.
3. hatched it. (duh)

TOTAL NUMBER OF STEPS TAKEN TO HATCH: 2805 steps

4. I took Magmotar out of my team
5. Picked up another egg from the daycare man.
6 Hatched it.

TOTAL NUMBER OF STEPS TAKEN TO HATCH: 5355 steps

I repeated this whole test again and I still got the same conclusions.

TOTAL NUMBER OF STEPS TAKEN TO HATCH WITH MAGMOTAR: 2805
TOTAL NUMBER OF STEPS TAKEN TO HATCH WITHOUT MAGMOTAR: 5355

So my conclusion is that if you have a Pokemon with Flame body in your team, you can hatch eggs much faster.

Yep it reduces the number of steps by half. Thanks for posting incase some people don;t know.

Everyone already knows this. Heck, I'm using my PBR Magmortar to hatch Larvitar eggs right now.

lol yeah it is, if you want help on a poke'mon that's very good at "Flame Body" the poke'mon I chose was Magcargo.
