Is there anymore flying types in the game other than starly, it looks so weak and my turtwig is at lv.11 now and i need a flying type soon to battle the grass gym later

Starly is weak at first, but I have a Staraptor and it never fails to kill everything. ~

If you need another flying type, level 11, hmmm, only way is to beat the first gym leader, or get a Zubat. After the first gym, you could probably catch a Murkrow (Diamond), or Sweet honey Trees until a Female combee or male Burmy to get bug Flying types.

These are the Flying Types I could come up with.

Starly - Starly is actually pretty awesome, even in the beginning of the game. It gets Wing Attack at 11, which hits pretty much everything to fatal health, if not KOing them. Evolves into Staravia at Lv. 18, then Staraptor at Lv. 34. Staraptor is basically the only Flying Type that gets Close Combat, which allows it to defend itself against Rock Types. Also not to mention it runs off of 120 Base Attack and 100 Base Speed, and those stats are nothing to scoff at.

Zubat - Compared to Starly, Zubat isn't really anything made out to be trained early in the game, taking into account that you don't get Steel Wing early like you did in RSE. It does evolve into Golbat at 22, then by Happiness into Crobat. Only thing I can say is if you think about raising Zubat, breed one with Hypnosis first.

Murkrow (Diamond Only) - I'm pretty much on a level of meh-ness with Murkrow. Evolves into Honchkrow with a Dark Stone. Yes, it gets Night Slash, which is a scary attack, but it doesn't get any other powerful attacks besides that. Also not to mention Honchkrow is slow as crap (71 Base Speed, please) and only gets 5 higher in base Attack than Staraptor. Unworthy sacrifice if you ask me.

Chatot - Eh, that think kinda sucks. It's a Special Based Flying Type, and it's only good moves are Chatter and Hyper Voice. Moving on.

Noctowl - Nothing I would use for In-Game, I know that.

    Pelipper - Sucks. Moving on...

So out of that list, the only good Flying Types to use for In-Game would be either Staraptor or Crobat, and I'd obviously pick Staraptor.

For the main game, Pelipper is useful as an HM slave. Unlike in battling, in the main game Fly is perfectly respectable as the horrible AI doesn't take advantage, and Surf is always a strong attack. Level up properly (ie, don't spread yourself too thin) and all you need to win is type balance and advantage.

Obviously Staraptor and Crobat are more powerful, but the added utility of Pelipper means he rarely leaves my squad.

Yeah, everyone needs an HM slave. I think that's the funniest nickname for a pokemon...I luv crobat but the other guy is pretty darn good too.
