    Hello everyone!
Does anyone know where I can find the ASM Routine for instant OW change? I saw an ASM before that allows you to reload the map without leaving and reentering the map or opening the Pokedex or bag menu. In my hack, it has a feature of changing the sprite of the Player to any OW of my preference but for it to take effect, the map has to be refreshed. That ASM would solve the problem but I can't seem to find it here. Thanks!

Isn't there a special for that?
    Code:
    special 0x8E
    No need for ASM.

Ah, I see. I just confirmed it [source]. Let me check.
Edit: Yea, here it is [link]. I even tested it myself. Cannot believe I forgot it.
Hello! Thank you very much for this!
Upon checking, the routine limits you from changing OW by allowing 30 Overworlds only. There is a routine in JPAN hacked Engine and Complete Fire Red Upgrade that allows you to change the player's sprite of any Sprite ID of your choice by setting a value to a certain var. That feature will take effect as long as the screen is refreshed. There is a routine made for it already so you don't have to enter a new map for the OW sprite change to work. However, I can't find it here. But, really, thanks for pointing me out to that routine.
