    More than a year without a trading thread...well, it is about time to change that.

    Welcome to what shall hopefully be my final trading thread. I hope to provide a way for beginning traders to improve upon their initial trading threads, while at the same time improving my own in order to assist with this. I only plan to trade legitimate Pokemon, and ask that only legitimate Pokemon be traded back in return.

    Pokedex Completion Service​


    For those users currently looking to complete their Pokedex, I am offering a special service: I currently have in my possession a complete legitimate and self-obtained set of all 492 currently released Pokemon, excluding Celebi but including all other Legendaries. Several are UT, although Pokerus is available upon request. All Pokemon numbered from 1 to 250 are located on my Diamond while numbers 252 through 492 are located on Pearl. I am giving all of these Pokemon away for free, whether it be for Pokedex purposes, breeding uses, or simply to trade with other users.

    This also includes a complete UT, self-obtained set of Purified Pokemon, all caught inside normal Poke Balls.


    Breeding Ability​


    Along with the above, I naturally have access to several desired Egg Moves, if not most. It would be somewhat pointless to provide a list, as I am also willing to chain breed for a non-Smeargle Egg Move that I might not have available, so just ask and I will check.

    I also have several natures of Ditto, as well as most if not all of the competitive natures, so I can also add that in as well if need be.

    I will not IV breed or search/trade for Shiny Pokemon, however, due to Platinum RNG abuse making these far more common.


    Item Collection​


    Most items are available for trade from these games, including Master Balls, TMs, Lucky Eggs, Power items, and various battle items. Just ask and I will see if I have it in stock.

    All that I am interested in for these are UT events that are not already in my possession. If there is an untouched event in your possession that I do not already have, I will accept it. However, I still have access to Pokemon Colosseum, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, Pokemon Box: Ruby and Sapphire, and My Pokemon Ranch, so please do not offer any events that originate from North American versions of these games. All Purified Pokemon from the first two are already included in the Pokedex above, and events from the others will come in time.

    I also realize that not every user will have any events to trade for these, while still wanting to start a collection on his or her own. Therefore, any user who has been registered for at least three months and lacks a considerable event collection may request 3 of the above-listed events for free. What constitutes as a "considerable" collection will vary from case to case, however 30 unique events is about average.

    In addition, any event requested from a Wonder Card will also be free, unless there is a specific feature requested that requires soft resetting.



    Now, before I am attacked for the above, allow me to explain something: yes, I do clone, but I use neither an Action Replay nor the GTS glitch in order to do so. What I use is the third method: Gamesave Cloning. I have the ability to copy a save file directly from my cartridge, essentially cloning everything that might have been on that save file in the process. This allows me to copy any Pokemon, item, or Card, regardless of the Classic Ribbon or any other effects, while keeping both copies exactly the same. There are no cheat codes involved, and there is no risk of losing said Pokemon. The only drawback to this is that it takes somewhat longer than the two more common methods.

    Rules:​


    1. While I will try to complete trade requests as they are made, there might be a point where I am unable to do so. This is what the above list is for. If I am unavailable, each trade will be added to this list in the order that they are requested, and then completed in that order once I am available.

    2. Please do not pressure me for trades. I can only be so fast as far as trading, and constant questions never help the matter. Doing so may influence me into canceling your trade.

    3. When I say "free", I mean free. I do not want any Pokemon of value for these, even cloned Pokemon. This includes IV bred, EV trained, Shiny, Event, or even generally rare Pokemon. Receiving these means that I need to create yet another backup which could just as easily be avoided. Pokemon randomly caught on Route 201 are generally best in this case.

    …..I will not usually refuse donations, however, if so desired.

    4. I have already checked through my event list for hacks, and have removed several that provided unusual results, but I am not perfect. In the event that one of my non-WC events turns out to be a hack and proof can be provided, I will remove the event from my list and provide a refund, if necessary. However, trades for these events have all been arranged in public areas, so if necessary, I can also provide a history of where a given Pokemon originated. This is also why trade offers made over Private Messages have been ignored in the past, so as to avoid any question of source.

    Trade requests made over Private Messages or Instant Messengers will also be ignored, for the reason above.

    5. While I aim not to trade hacked Pokemon, please realize that I do not have any control over these Pokemon once they are traded away. It is quite possible that one of my Pokemon will be hacked after leaving my possession. So, if one of my Pokemon is discovered in another user's possession as a hack, please do not blindly attack me for hacking. I will re-check any Pokemon in question, of course, but I am already completely aware of the legitimacy of the Pokedex and Wonder Card Pokemon, and there is no reason whatsoever that they should be labeled as hacks unless another user edits them.

    6. Finally, please at least make an attempt to type legibly. While not grounds to outright reject a request, it is difficult to complete a trade when I cannot even understand what is being asked for.

    ...I actually do have WISHMKR Jirachi. I still have access to the original Bonus Disk, as well as that being the Jirachi currently used in the Pokedex Completion Service. Sorry.

    If you really only have three events, then you would qualify for the above.

    Yes, you are allowed. Please use the Platinum Friend Code and collect three throw-away Pokemon.

    Attack power item...sorry, but you are going to need to be a bit more specific. If you are referring to the Power Bracer, then yes.

    You can have Latias, Latios, and Ho-Oh, but no, I will not under any circumstances accept a Pokemon that is knowingly hacked.

    It should not be that difficult to catch three Bidoof or Starly, anyway.

    Sorry, I should have been more specific: the only Shiny Pokemon that I am interested in right now are Events that are pre-set to be Shiny which I do not already have, such as the WCS Milotic.
