Forest Grovyle's Latest Works (NEW: 17/10/07 Oekaki Realism Tutorial!)

Who? Oh well, I know close to nothing about lion king, so prod me for it, I need it. Then prod me again for not even thinking at all. And can you do it on the red spot? That always helps me understand things better...

But I like the icon thingy!

Your art is pretty cool, but I wish you made the Ralts line. i bet you would do good on that! I like your Flareon art very much and the Lion King Art is groovy!

Scar looks so Cute young XD I love the smilies

You'r style dos look alot like disney o.o, and you'r colors are so calm and plesent to look at ^_^

The originality in this drawing is amazing and you'r shading looks almost like a disney poster I got of simba and nala licking O.O Way to awesome...

Was this done on a oekaki or photoshop like place?
The shading looks like my brothers computer program named fireworks.

Awwwwww...thanks so much everyone for your sweet comments! :D They mean so much to me! ^_^ I haven't had much time for art recently due to uni work :( But I did manage to finish two pieces (the Armaldo is really old, but I never uploaded it)...so here's Armaldo, and a Meowth dressed as Rimmer from the TV show Red Dwarf (the coin on his head is shaped like an "H" for Hologram). :)

(the thick black line around him is so it shows up well on dark backgrounds since it's a transparent GIF). :)

Hope you like!

Thanks Tig and MegaDitto! ^_^ The Armaldo was originally going to be battling a Kabutops, but whatever pose I tried for the Kabutops never came out right :( So I decided to just leave it as it was. ;)
Did anyone else use to think those red bits on its face were its eyes? I did when I first saw the sprite, and hadn't seen the official drawing!

Awesome, like always, Forest~ =D
I like Armaldo the best! Do a Cradily the next~

wow! those are incredible Forest Grovyle! You are really talented, and i love your drawing style! good job! ^_^

FG, seeing all those works, previous and recent ones, amazes me. They're simply great!

I still don't understand how you can draw that way, because However hard I try, I can only draw Grey aliens and Ninjas on MSN o.O' *pokes Grey aliens*

Thanks so much everyone for your comments! ^_^ Reading them makes my day! :D
NiNGi, I guess all it takes is lots of practise - it's taken me a few years to get this far ^_^ I used to be awful, but I kept trying and I'm really pleased with what I do now! :D I'm sure if you keep going you'll only keep improving! :)

I drew another Meowth, this time in Lister from Red Dwarf's costume XD This was a hard but fun one to do! The costume and guitar took ages!
