formals/proms

I never went to my prom because I couldn't drive yet at the time and none of the girls I knew expressed any desire to go and plus I am depressingly lonely and insecure.
 
Got really drunk while wearing a suit, and it was one of the best nights of my life! :]
I didn't dance though, AND I didn't have a date!

that is quite possibly the greatest idea of all time regarding formals. im just arriving in the man van with five mates. should be a blast.
we're not allowed to arrive in a helicopter >.<
 
My school had a semi-formal at some place a few weeks ago. It was crap. 45 dollars for bad* food, a lousy band and a retarded place. I can't believe I went. . .

Amachi: don't bypass the forum censors.

That must've cost way too much. I went to grade eight graduation in a limo, but a helicopter?! O.o

One of the reasons I really don't like going.

1) Buy a suit
2) Buy a ticket
3) Buy a date something nice
4) Be depressed at much money you spent for one night of fun

Sure I'll go to normal dances because you can wear your own clothes and they can be about $15, but formals are way too expensive. Only one I'll go to is my grade 12 formal.
