Suggestion: Forum Leap

For easier navigation and being able to get to your favourite forums/sub-forums, I think it would be a good idea to have a button on the homepage which allows you to leap to your favourite forum(s). It would have a drop down of the forums you have selected so you can just click the button and a list of forums/sub-forums and those would be there. Each user would be limited to around 3-4 different forums so you don't get a massive list going down your page. But, it could vary on your rank status. Like a certain supporter tier would be able to get 1-2 more and staff could also get a bigger amount.

How this would work is that you would go to whichever forum you would like to add, and there is a button which lets you add it to the list. Additionally, there could also be a button on User CP which allows you to add to the list aswell. There should also be an option to remove it from the list once you've added it.

I thought of this idea since one of your favourite forums that you are active on is always at the bottom or you miss it a lot when scrolling. Or just for easier navigation if your lazy or etc.

Well, you can jump to your favourite forum, but can't save it. It is just at the bottom of the forum homepage.​

To be honest, I don't really see the point in this. Although it would be a nice feature, you can simply add your favourite forums to your favourites and be done with it. It's probably more efficient this way for people like me who have a bunch of their favourites in a toolbar.

To be honest, I don't really see the point in this. Although it would be a nice feature, you can simply add your favourite forums to your favourites and be done with it. It's probably more efficient this way for people like me who have a bunch of their favourites in a toolbar.

But you would save more space on your favourites and not have too much things on it. Also, it would just be quicker on general. Type 'P' in the address bar and go on the PC website and then it's just there for you. It would be quicker if you are already on PC.

That's just really really lazy. There's no need for this, it only saves like two more seconds than it normally would.

I don't see any problem with letting you subscribe to forums like threads and putting a link under "Quick Links".

You can subscribe to forums like you can subscribe to threads. Under forum tools you select 'Subscribe to This Forum.' Then in your User Control Panel under subscriptions you'll find it there where you would find your thread subscriptions. The only difference is there is no link for it under Quick Links - which shouldn't be too hard to put.

To be honest though, it's not that hard to scroll down the page and find the forum you're looking for. So, I just don't see the point in adding a drop box menu to jump to the forum. I'd agree with Manipulation and say that's just being lazy. :|
