Four Seasons - Grand Opening!huh? what? when did this happen?

Today is the grand opening of four seasons! This would be my second gym, maybe some of you follows(makes me feel special) remember my old gym "Looks Gym" i gave it to a fellow pokemon community member but it doesn't seem to me that he took good care of it so this time i am going to devote more time into this time and maybe with some luck this time hopefully it shall stay c:

I'd be interested in challenging this gym later, but I do have one question.

Why do people applying for a gym leader position need to post their Pokemon?

Cause every gym has to have a certain type hence the slogan elements unleashed and im going to be making a trainer card similar to this

I understand your reasons to having a trainer card and everything, but then that gives the challenger the upper-hand, by knowing the leader's Pokemon.

Well since they already know the gym leader's type does it matter if they know your pokemons?
Or should i make a trainer card for every challenger since i can keep track of badges that way too?

I'd love to apply for this as a Gym Leader, but I do have a problem with the whole "challenger knows exactly what Pokemon you have" thing. Let's just say I was running a Water-Type team, the challenger would generally bring a big team full of Electric-Type Pokemon. But, what if I used a Whiscash? The challenger would know by reading my application, and they'd know Grass would be much more effective than Electric. So what I think I'll do is post my application and "Ace Pokemon" on here, but I'll PM you with the rest of my team. Deal?

And after you apply, you probably know how to fight a gym leader right? Well here's how!
You simply post the image of the gym leader's trainer card while putting a VS in bold.
