[Other] (FR) Skipping only the Intro Battle (Gengar vs Nidoran) but Keeping the Game Freak Intro?

    Hey! Recently I saw a ROM hack which kept the Game Freak intro but completely skipped over the battle scene between Gengar and Nidoran- I've searched for possible ways to do this online, but I still haven't found a viable solution. Does anyone know a way in which I could do this? I'm quite new to ROM hacking, so any help/advice would be deeply appreciated, thanks in advance!

    What's the name of the ROM hack? I can (maybe) search for a solution to your problem in it's hex data.
