    This isn't an actual unmodified Yellow rom. but I had Debug Yellow and there's an option where you can give yourself items, so I gave myself the second to last item in the list, and it was a glitch item (of course).
    I used the item, and the screen became all glitched and scrambled, and I had to lay down for a bit, lol.

    The reason why I had to rest is because I love Pokemon Glitches, but when I encounter an actual glitch (ex: MISSINGNO) for some reason, I freak out.
     
    The game did not crash when i catched missingno, because i fastly release him forever.
     
    Ive had similair experiences with the missing number glitches i think
    Some of em can propperly screw you over if you arent careful
